Great tool to find and source real research

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and learn, so there's a low barrier to entry. But being able to find trends and insights for brands, products, and people are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know it isn't their fault, but would love to have more data from Facebook and Instagram - sometimes the insights are skewed heavily towards Twitter/X and News.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to identify trends and insights for our clients, that we can turn into marketing strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Very user friendly plattform, where I can easily find what I need and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many features of Meltwater and it is sometimes difficult to find where to start. I think an auto save button would also be helpful. Especially with Mira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall brand sentiment for a number of our brands. We can track social media response, track campaigns, as well as track overall company online reputation.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps centralize social listening and media monitoring, which is critical for spotting trends and crises early.

It saves a lot of manual work by automating alerts, reporting, and data pulls, which is especially useful for ongoing reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sentiment analysis can be inaccurate at times, especially for sarcasm, slang, or multilingual mentions.

Exported reports could be more customizable and visually polished.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps us monitor the overall sentiment around destinations, giving us a clear picture of how travelers are talking about them across media and social platforms. This insight is valuable for identifying trends, potential issues, and audience perceptions. Having that data helps guide both content creation and paid media strategies, ensuring messaging is timely, relevant, and aligned with how people actually feel about the destination.

I wish that it was easier to filter within a topic, it could be more intuitive especially compared to Talkwalker

“Although the tool is clear, intuitive, and provides strong insights, I would appreciate faster data refresh rates, more customization options, and deeper integration with other platforms. Sometimes advanced features require extra learning, which could be improved for smoother adoption.”

This tool is excellent for understanding conversations. I use it with the Audiense integration, which lets me cover all insights, interests, and passion points from my audience. The integration is seamless and provides the best consumer insights available.

What do you like best about the product?
The search function and reporting in Meltwater is easy to learn, and it give valuable information to gauge how campaigns are performing. It also helps us to stay in front of the news cycle when key topics are being discussed on both social media and in the news. The Meltwater team is also very helpful in answering questions quickly and effectively
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited amount of searches can make it hard to do reporting or create newsletters when you run out, but I have found ways to make it work with tags and other features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps us to find journalists to reach out to, and it helps us to monitor media in a timely fashion.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate having all of our social media and media relations searches and analytics available in one place. The integration has saved our team a lot of time. Additionally, the customer support is top tier - we can always rely on a Meltwater representative to jump on a call with us to problem solve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, partnership or API limitations can block us from having access to certain reporting or media results. But that is an issue that is not exclusive to Meltwater.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our brand goals center heavily around awareness and audience growth since we have rebranded and have an important launch upcoming. Meltwater allows us to measure how our social media and media outreach tactics are achieving these KPI goals.

A lot of searches that come out are not relevant to the topic being searched, and there are not enough sources for data

Meltwater helps us to find what people are saying about brands and how they feel about them, and help us research current topics

What do you like best about the product?
- The innovative platform and mindset - data is always evolving and improving
- The account management and care for us as clients is always exceptional - we feel we are always being heard and bespoke improvements made to the product to help us specifically
- The insights for short form social platforms are great
- The ability to have multiple teams use multiple products from the Melt Water suite - hopefully this can continue to evolve
- The AI functionality and improvements are great and continue to help improve the interface and insights we can get
- Excellent customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
- Ease of implementation is still an issue for us. Klear still doesn't meet our needs as a platform given the block on our biggest growth channel, YouTube - the team are continually helping us with workarounds but we need a solid, automated solution for data, insights, reporting, discovery
- As no YouTube data, we cannot use the Klear score as it excludes YouTube
- The connect function and CRM is still very clunky for us which stops us from using the platform for everything end to end - we want to improve this so we can rely on only using Klear v all the internal sheets
- Lack of ability to log deal amounts and content amounts in an organised fashion within influencer profiles - we have deals that post content monthly and there is nowhere to log the cost each month a part from in a messy note. Need to see results and cost and performance by influencer and then have that all aggregated with a campaign
- Improvements in the above would increase our frequency of use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- AI automation - with more automation of insights, data etc, more time free'd up on our side for creativity = more influencer activity = more growth = more Klear usage
- Discovery of new influencers - this is the primary function we use it for - aggregated view of relevant influencers, although this needs improvement at a regional level (outside of UK and US)
- Allows us to centralise all of our influencers rather than in G sheets - CRM function
- Allows ua to connect with influencers and mange all conversations in one place
