What do you dislike about the product?
* difficulty building lists
*Not the easiest instructions on how to navigate meltwater's features. (wish there was some sort of handbook etc)
*List numbers should corespond with how many influencers we can sent out, so if our max is 1000 recipients, lists should be able to go to 1000 people (for ease)

excellent customer service, difficult at times to use
What do you like best about the product?
I think Meltwater's customer service is excellent. Their reps are always available to troubleshoot issues and answer questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the organization of the site is still a bit too clunky and difficult to engage with. Even after a few tutorials, I still find myself clicking around to find what I'm actually looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater to create publicity updates for our global marketers. These publicity updates have been satisfactory and also allow for our company as a whole to stay informed of our publicity and media hits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Meltwater is a great software to conduct outreach to bloggers, influencers, reporters, experts in niche fields, etc. I do, however, think it takes awhile to become comfortable with using it regularly. Once you become comfortable with its functions and the language of the software, it is quite simple and quick to use. That being said, the support of their reps is excellent and much appreciated.

If we have a problem our representative works on it right away to get resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Promotion of new services can be too aggressive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nice way to benchmark our performance against other destinations. A good way to see all our online mentions in one daily report.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some of the media contacts at publications are out of date, so if it's super important to reach the right person, double check.

I like how it incorporates all parts of a media relations strategy - monitoring, reporting, research, outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often there are gaps in what the tools make available - missing articles, incorrect contact information, no contact information for newsrooms. The tool needs more of a human touch.

One-stop shop for communications teams - no need to switch between services.

We are keeping an eye and ear on conversations that impact our business. We also can put a value on traditional and social media outreach, to show impact and impressions.

Talk with Meltwater about your needs. Their account staff are very effective at building the tool which meets your needs.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The Meltwater system is easy for all to use and very intuitive. As a busy executive I find it hard to set aside time to train on new systems so I can best support my team in their daily work and resource needs. The team at Meltwater is very helpful and swift to respond to our changing needs. We are successful because of the partnership built between customer and vendor!

The media contacts list is hard to navigate and functionally difficult to pull 1 name specifically.

Meltwater is easy to use. They have advisors readily available for assistance. In urgent time sensitive situations, they are easy to get a hold of and helpful.

The site can sometimes be slow. Have gone in a couple times where things will not open.

What do you like best about the product?
The media monitoring aspect, in which we set up key words and it pulls all the relevant news articles in, works very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every now and again foreign language articles get pulled in, but it doesn't happen very often.

We are monitoring various subjects/issues/events that impact our organization. We also use it to send out news releases to the relevant journalists/publications.
User Friendly

I like how the new platform is easy to use (once you've learned how to use it).

When creating a news release photo doesn't upload its regular size.
