Comprehensive Media Monitoring with Room for UI Improvements

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease with which I can see all media mentions and reach in one space. I also appreciate the ability to get behind many (but not all) paywalls. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy because they have good onboarding and customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have better behind the paywall access - as sometimes it's frustrating to be met with a paywall. It could have a better UI/UX too as it's challenging to use at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater for media monitoring, analysis, and reporting. It solves the problem of capturing all media mentions across diverse sources and allows easy analysis. I like seeing media mentions in one place and accessing content behind many paywalls.

Meltwater has been an invaluable tool for our team.
We've been using Meltwater for media monitoring, competitive analysis, and social listening, and it's exceeded our expectations across the board. The platform is intuitive, powerful, and provides real-time insights that help us stay ahead in our industry. The reporting tools are especially impressive — they make it easy to create visually appealing, data-rich reports for stakeholders.

What really stands out is the customer support. Our account manager is responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help us get the most out of the platform. Meltwater feels more like a strategic partner than just a software provider.

Highly recommended for any organization that wants to make smarter, data-driven PR and marketing decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly intuitive. It seems to have a good database of media contacts organized in a way that makes targeting/weeding out pretty easy and efficient. Reporting of engagement in emails sent is nice and easy to understand. Customer support has been fairly responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a 1,000 email/day limit, but that is pretty standard for these types of platforms. It would be nice to have a report available to show engagement on emails sent. Instead I have to create that manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables us to reach a targeted audience and shows how much interest there was in our message.

Costs of the tool and/or costs of additional searches, logins, licenses, etc.

As a PR agency we need access to reliable media databases and media monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use for all the things it does. After a few minutes of playing with the site, it feels like all the features are fairly easy to utilize and super helpful in minimizing the number of sites you have to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will sometimes get sites where the link is broken or the article does not exist, but it generally doesn't take too much time away from my tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps ne monitor and mentions of the company in one spot instated of searching everywhere.

What do you like best about the product?
I initially loved the functionality, the ability to combine content and reporting along with social listening. The sales team was very responsive in helping us get questions answered prior to contract signing. As a small agency, it was a big decision for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
We experienced a number of technical issues during a trial period where we continued to see bugs, report them, run into issues, and not get any kind of resolution, and sometimes not even a response. The customer team was non responsive, and had agreed to things prior to contract signing that did not happen. During the time where we did not hear from them, the customer contact we were told we had left the company (unknown reason why) and we were not even notified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater solved our ability to manage many social profiles, track analytics more thoroughly and combine searches across the Engage platform and the media monitoring tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The social listening components and ease of making contact lists for PR purposes are beneficial features.
What do you dislike about the product?
If anything, potentially the number of clicks per page, or not being able to return to the same place in a list when clicking on a specific item and leaving that list page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater makes it easier to sort, review and take inventory of specific contacts, organize lists and distribute info to key audience groups. It's faster to source the right info and share it with the right people.
