What do you like best about the product?
Jaime from Klear was a great contact, the customer support on Klear is fantastic and helpful. Klear quantifies influence with a score, reminiscent of Klout and Kred, but the presentation, ease of use and power of the platform speaks volumes. Everything feels useful and visually attractive for clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the historical data limitation. I realize that it is very expensive to house and save historical data, but again, in general that is a very expensive tall order that you can't expect for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showing reputation management, return on investment with social media, change in influence over time, and showing impact with social media campaigns.

Do the free trial, request a demo and have fun!
Excellent resource for quick, live social listening insights
What do you like best about the product?
Sysomos allows me to pull social insights and user verbatims from Twitter as well as other social channels and sort by authority score, shareability and influencer communities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outside of Twitter, the ability to pull deep insights from Instagram and Facebook is more difficult and offers less information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social listening, community management, influencer evaluation and identification.

Sysomos is a powerhouse listening tool for Twitter insights but you may want to look elsewhere for other social platform research.

What do you like best about the product?
The versatility - for making media lists, coverage reports, monitoring for newswire pickup, searching for news coverage in print and online.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface for compiling data could be easier to navigate.

Monitoring for news coverage, seeing exactly where news wire stories were picked up, making reports.
Meltwater's new platform is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater's revamped interface makes it easy to use ad-hoc searches. You now have the option of creating a complex boolean search after setting up your initial search - this is really helpful in reducing noise.

Sometimes the page doesn't load and it hangs your browser.

Meltwater can generate reports to give a measurement on how effective the campaign was

Reporting and analytics provide great support for our business.

I dislike the clunkiness at times. They have gotten better.

Makes My Job Easy to Do
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is the easiest media monitoring tool I have used. It also makes it easier to find the journalists I am trying to reach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only a couple of us can log in at one time, so that can cause a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to monitor media mentions and social media mentions. It is easier to track than other tools out there.

Try it out and you will love it!

What do you like best about the product?
Used it two years ago and was disappointed with how few contacts it had, though liked the topic search. But explored it more recently and was much more impressed with the new optimizations in terms of search possibilities and global reach of contacts. My org almost switched to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
the scope of contacts, how its not friendly to blast to contacts and lack of reach in as many countries as vocus

need a database that can reach global contacts and allows you to send blast emails to contacts.

Not great if you are a global org. However, the targeted search is super helpful if you are often search for niche targets in very specific industries
