Loyal customer for years
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has the very best customer service in the industry. I have been working with them for 8+ years, brought the software into a new agency when I moved companies and can't imagine doing my job without it. Our dedicated rep always gets ack to us within minutes or hours at the latest, goes out of their way to manually support on dashboard builds and fixes, teaches us new features when there have been roll outs and listens and implements product improvement suggestions. Pricing is competitive and fair, and over the years hasn't increased a whole lot, which is appreciated and keeps us as customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all software, its not perfect. Sometimes the database does not have the people I'm looking for, doesn't have their emails, or the emails are wong. The email sending feature doesn't work for our needs as when you load in a list you can't customize each one as you send individually and all PR people know personalization is key. The search function could benefit for better features like allowing AND for beats instead of Or, which would help niche down lists faster within the platform, rather than doing this in excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps find the right journalista dn build targeted outreach lists. Explore and Dashboards helps monitor brands media/social and those insights are used in weekely/monthly/quarterly/annual reports as well as insights for new business pitches and kick off audits.
Useable and a little helpful
What do you like best about the product?
Posting to various sites instantly is helpful and that you can make some "localizations" for each media in the posting tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very flexible, integration lacks features, too.

Time saving for our communicators and marketing.

What do you like best about the product?
Top of the line support team, custom dashboards, surround sound level media monitoring. New product additions and updates every month. The team helps with onboarding and integration, until the tool is essential to your every day process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cumbersome to operate, can become quickly bloated. Requires complete strategy to deliver needed results.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very intuitive platform that delivers results quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I consider that the AV of the news is a bit inflated.

When a crisis happens and I am asked for media impacts, Meltwater provides me with a report on the situation around the world with detailed data.

I really like how easy it is to pitch to people in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are a couple of things MW can do better at. They should have a function where we can follow-up on the original email we sent out to the editor, this makes it easier to send and follow-up on our end.

An Advanced Platform for PR Pros
What do you like best about the product?
I love the modern look of Meltwater, the ease of use, and the multitude of advanced tools such as AI that are available within Meltwater.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, the interface was a bit overwhelming and hard to navigate but its gotten easier as ive gotten more familiar with the platform.

Helping sort through the clutter of modern media and find relevant articles and writers.
Excellent tool for media monitoring and analysis
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Meltwater for nearly four years now, and I've been able to generate great insights for my clients. It delivers useful stats about recent news developments, and the graphs it generates in the dashboard are a great template to include in campaign reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have the option to amend the 'previous period' section when generating graphs to have a clearer comparison to the time period of the current search query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping generate insights to answer client queries before they ask them. So, it helps us be more proactive.
