Deep in features and future-focused
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Meltwater is that the product not only has many industry-leading features, but that it is future-focused, utilizing tools like AI—that are changing almost daily—to give users a huge leg up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a new Meltwater client, and I am yet to run into any major issues. We found our team to be very reactive to a few bullet points we had about the newsletter function, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping us solve our daily and weekly reporting needs to our campus leadership. We also will rely on Meltwater to help inform our crisis management and overall social media strategies.

I love the different capabilities that Meltwater provides across our team in various areas and capabilities.

There are some glitchy functions that can make it tedious to go in and make

Social media management in Meltwater has saved me tons of time
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has helped to streamline social media management by being able to easily schedule out content on a monthly basis so I can set it and forget it and spend more time on social listening and engagement across channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike! The tool has only enhanced my experience in organizing and managing social.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's giving me back time in my day to focus on other tasks and able to spend more time on creativity and effectiveness of our social.
Monitoring made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has made it a seamless process to not only monitor the ongoing of social and news but also to respond in a quick, transparent and authentic way.
What do you dislike about the product?
With its numerous abilities, it's not always intuitive to navigate. A positive and a negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With limited resources (financially and bodily), Meltwater is making a small but mighty team feel large.
Excellent Service, Heavy Lift to Get Started
What do you like best about the product?
The tools are excellent and provide great insights into our industry. It allows us to see what is being shared from all over the web.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a HUGE product and is overwhelming to get started. We have a small team and find it difficult to carve out time to really spend in the software. The team has been useful but it still seems that we've barely scratched the surface.

We can hear what is being published and shared across the web about our industry.
Decent platform

UI is nice, customer service is nice as well. New AI features to explore

I appreciate Meltwater for its integrated capabilities in PR and social media management, making it ideal for teams needing both functionalities. It allows me to monitor issues comprehensively, which is essential for staying informed and proactive.

It provides robust social media monitoring tools, but it falls short in a few key areas. The API limitations are more noticeable compared to similar apps, which can hinder integration with other platforms. Additionally, the reporting feature lacks intuitiveness, making it challenging to extract and analyze data effectively. These aspects could benefit from improvement to enhance user experience.0

Meltwater offers a centralized platform for cross-departmental analytics and monitoring, aggregating data from social media, news sources, and online platforms. It enables us to gain comprehensive insights into brand reputation, competitor activities, market trends, and campaign effectiveness in one integrated solution. This facilitates informed decision-making across various departments, enhancing overall strategy and performance management.
Customer Care at Its Finest
What do you like best about the product?
Our Meltwater team is so dedicated to finding solutions. We have been so pleased with our collaboration, especially coming from a partner who was not as engaged. We are looking forward to launching Amplify, as well, and have has full support in putting a plan together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there are data interruptions, but our reps and the engineers are quick to address it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a central location for all of our media outreach/analytics and social media functions.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater brings amazing capabilities to search online content, identify influencers, collect data, and present that data, and engage with communities in whatever field you are in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the packages are silo'd and don't integrate that well with each other. I would like slightly greater integration within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allowed our team to find the critical content that may be interesting to our user base. It also allows us to engage with our community and release content to targeted outlets to broaden our reach.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the user-friendly database of the platform. All of my team members with a range of expertise and skillsets can use it easily.
It also has the best data as far as platforms and publications it scrapes, metrics and analytics, and journalist contact info.

There are some sorting and organizing features, as well as blind spots, that could be addressed.

It's helping us keep all of our monitoring, metrics & outreach in one place with an expansive database available.
