Meltwater Is Essential to My PR Day—Wide Offerings and Incredible Support
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater my essential for starting the day as a PR professional. It has such a wide variety of offerings and an incredible staff to help you navigate it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a plus to have all the bells and whistles but it can be hard to keep up. Fortunately, they have top notch staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us monitor a wide range of local and national media across types of publications and helps us find new media opportunities.

Effortless Media Monitoring, Highly Recommend
What do you like best about the product?
I find Meltwater really easy to use for monitoring our members and federal updates. It helps me stay informed about what our members are doing across the U.S. and share information with reporters effectively. The initial setup of Meltwater was easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure - maybe incorporate broadcast monitoring into the standard package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps me monitor our members across the U.S. and share information with reporters, making it easy to stay informed about what our members are doing and federal updates.
Meltwater is a great tool for media relations and brand search.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of using Meltwater and finding the information I need for brand and competitor research, social listening, and finding journalists is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are just a few missing features in certain areas that I think makes sense to have.

Thanks to Meltwater, the difficulty and time involved in finding journalists and building media lists aren’t an issue.

User interface is great, very intuitive.

Limitations on social platforms. Understand that's beyond their control.

Empowers Media Monitoring and Seamless Story Pitching
What do you like best about the product?
I use Meltwater for Media Monitoring and Media Relations, and I love that it allows me to collect news mentions daily and see broadcast pieces without spending time searching or reaching out to networks for the clips. It's extremely easy to pitch new stories and build up my database of journalists, which is a big advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a small, incredibly busy team so training all three of us on Meltwater and keeping our skills relevant was a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater lets me collect news mentions daily and watch broadcast pieces without searching or contacting networks. It’s easy to pitch new stories and build a journalist database. The AI search helps our busy team keep skills relevant despite challenges in training all of us.
Nonprofit earned media has improved!
What do you like best about the product?
For my earned media, it has help me understand what media likes to open and click through. The dashboard allows me to show my senior team how our earned media has grown. I also love the sorting features and the Mira AI tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
You get what you pay for! It can be a bit pricey, but it’s so worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to beta test the way I engage with media and track results.
Effortless Media Monitoring with Superb Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create searches with Meltwater, making it very user-friendly for comms and non-technical users like me. The ability to create and run our own searches is a huge benefit, considering we previously had to pay another organization for this service. I also found the initial setup to be very easy thanks to the supportive onboarding team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI could be improved, the labeling can be repetitive. More PR friendly UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater for media monitoring, helping measure PR coverage. It simplifies creating searches, which saves us costs on external services since we can do it in-house.

I like the breadth of the product range of Meltwater. The initial setup was great, and the team was very helpful.
