Customer Care at Its Finest
What do you like best about the product?
Our Meltwater team is so dedicated to finding solutions. We have been so pleased with our collaboration, especially coming from a partner who was not as engaged. We are looking forward to launching Amplify, as well, and have has full support in putting a plan together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there are data interruptions, but our reps and the engineers are quick to address it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a central location for all of our media outreach/analytics and social media functions.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater brings amazing capabilities to search online content, identify influencers, collect data, and present that data, and engage with communities in whatever field you are in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the packages are silo'd and don't integrate that well with each other. I would like slightly greater integration within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allowed our team to find the critical content that may be interesting to our user base. It also allows us to engage with our community and release content to targeted outlets to broaden our reach.
User-Friendly with Great Communication but Needs Improved Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Meltwater is user-friendly. We have a really good communication line open with our customer success team, which is different than other vendors we've used in the past where it's been hard to track down a contact. I have found that they value our input on product features and are committed to continuing to improve the platform, ensuring it's fully functional and serving its clients in the best way possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have some issues in Explore where there might be a delay in an article coming that causes us to miss it. Certain important publications or platforms continue to be blind spots, especially if our clients see the coverage before us. This can harm our reputation as we want to stay on top of all client-related coverage. We've also had issues with support in the past, like not getting timely or clear responses to our tickets. Sometimes they suggest basic solutions after we've tried everything on our end, which means we spend a lot of time before involving them. These areas could be improved within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater for media monitoring, setting up news and social searches, and distributing daily media monitoring emails to clients. It helps with analytics, reporting, media relations, and finding relevant contacts.
Sometimes hard to make sure you take the time every day to get full value. More automation.

Better media monitoring. Before I was doing it manually.
Making life easier with Meltwater
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is super helpful for my day to day. Whether it's sorting journalists or writing press pitches. I always know meltwater will have my back.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes meltwater just doesn't work... but the support team is very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main one isn't here, but building and writing press pitches!
Great for tracking breaking news and customer sentiment.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the tagging feature which helps me filter between our county government and specific elected officials.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see more smaller publications in the explore feed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are definitely going to add the influencer package so we can find more brand ambassadors to share how the county helps them.
I really like the tools, but find it overwhelming at times

I like that it is constantly updating and modernizing.

I get overwhelmed by the tool. I don't feel like I fully can grasp everything it offers and understand how to use it

It is restrictive on what platforms it monitors. I wish it was connected to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and is packed with features that serve the needs of a wide variety of our stakeholders. It's become an essential tool for our public relatikns teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
A common gripe is that Boolean has been difficult for most newcomers to master, but that has now changed with the new features that were introduced today. Another gripe is the quality of the data - even after we filter by 'News' in the tool, we still get a lot of filler websites that reproduce our press releases and blogs but don't provide any insight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to pull all our media mentions manually and had to do so within a short period of time. This was extremely time consuming and gave us no time to measure sentiment. Meltwater solves both problems by scraping the web for articles for us, and provides us with sentiments that we can report to our stakeholders on.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I receive daily emails with our Meltwater insights. It's the first thing I look at every morning as a communications professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still struggling with the interface

Being able to pin point how misinformation spreads in our agriculture industry.
