Comprehensive Team of One Software
What do you like best about the product?
The folks I have met at Meltwater while onboarding the tool have been an amazing part of my experience. I enjoy that the platform allows for media tracking, content and trend tracking, reporter contact sourcing and reporting all in one.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, the words used to describe each feature can be confusing as they are propietary and each comms shop uses language interchangeably, IE the difference between reporting and dashboarding and tracking. But once through just a few tutorials, very simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps our nonprofit to be able to track what is being said in the local community so that we can both respond and advise our partners accordingly as the community connector and convener.
Great Tool for PR Outreach and Monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features from Meltwater is a daily email straight to your inbox that tracks your keyword searches in the news and on social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will say Meltwater updates the interface a few times per year and it can be challenging to keep up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help us keep up with what's going on online.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is a great tool for measuring sentiment from articles and media mentions. Meltwater is great for creating email campaings for press releases. Pitch lists can be easily made for mass outreach
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater is not user friendly in an already published article you self find and would like to see reach and sentiment. The search function on Meltwater to easily find out how articles are performing can be tricky and not very user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps with pitch lists and sending out press releases about new product launches, new store openings, and other storytelling for Crumbl and the brad as a whole
Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
The regular updates regarding our social media and media mentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't always use the dashboard, therefore, I sometimes need to reacclimate myself to it when I need to use it. Customer support is always helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allows me to start each day with a snapshot of all social media and press mentions, links to all mentions, and the reach of each.

What do you like best about the product?
the power of the tool in general, however my favorite section is the creation of segments based on key concepts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the tool to have the ability to search in more specific areas such as states at a geographic level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly the detection of insights in conversations, as well as the definition of segments or archetypes.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. It's simple to add in the social data that I need to work more efficiently. The customer support is also extrememely helpful if I run into any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on what you're doing things can get a little complicated that might require help from service rep. It is also costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping with benchmarking and best social media practices.
Solid platform, some limitations, overall positive experience
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting dashboard is easy to customize, attractive to view, and includes all meaningful metrics needed to measure success. My experiene with customer service has been positive overall. There has been a lot of turnover in the reps but I have always felt they were responsive when I had questions or concerns. Price point is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mdia outreach feature is a bit clunky and requires multiple steps to send an email (ie create a template, use the template, etc). I wish there was an option for a one-off send that didn't require a template. I also wish there was a way to add additional newswires to the account in the platform, as opposed to speaking with my rep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Meltwater primarily to reach out to media organizations, to send newswires, and to monitor media exposure. Meltwater is adequate for all these uses.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater makes it easy to track your PR and social media mentions, makes it seamless to complete your monthly reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Contacts on here are not always accurate

A lifesaver!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Meltwater allows me to keep everything involving media in one place. I am able to monitor and analyze anything my company is mentioned in as well as communicate with media outlets for publicity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a slight learning curve--but other than that--no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater solves the issue of not being able to monitor every media outlet ever to see when our brand is being mentioned.
Comprehensive + Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
The data/listening tools are fantastic, as are the analytics and overall earned media functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike -- if i made one user-enhancement it would be to clean up some of the navigation options - it's a very robust tool but I do get lost sometimes going from section to section.
