Good Product and Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
Our account rep consistently checked in with us to make sure we were getting what we need from the products we were using. He also went over how to gain more benefit if he noticed we could be utilizing something more efficiently. The social media functionality was also good.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would only get one press release and to add more was quite expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is a good place to be able to send particular messaging to predetermined groups.

What do you like best about the product?
It can be operated by users with all different level of knowledge in social listening. There's a lot of features to help you make the best search for each of cases. It's very robust and super quick, something essencial when you're facing something big, like a brand crises or anything out of normal. The integration between their other services works great. Meltwater is constantly evolving, going after new features, like image recognition or group-topics of search.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have better visualizations, for the creation of dashboards. For big companies, it can be a great option because all of their products, but for small and medium business it can be difficult to have access to other complementary products besides Meltwater – like influence marketing, audience creation, and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to analyze conversations about any subjet, product, service... we can study something before a new campaign, trying to confirm or not a hypotheses, or look for any insights. We can also monitor a campaign or product launch, understand what people talk about an influencer or celebrity, and more. It really helps to understand the general picture of what it's been talking about.

What do you like best about the product?
The way in which keywords can be configured, I also like the comparison I can make between searches to give me a more complete view of what I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
E crowling is not always effective, it takes time to load mentions and does not load all the mentions, mainly from TikTok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved the fact that searches are more automatic for me, it gives me good insights for campaigns without leaving home.

Limited Mobile App Features: The mobile app version of Meltwater might not offer all the features available on the desktop version, which can be limiting for professionals who need to access data on the go.

The way it shows you the data so simply is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool.

The inability to obtain information from other social platforms. Practically most come from Twitter "x"

My work area within the Meltwater platform is Explorer, an ideal tool for identifying the behavior of brands and political actors in the digital world. One of the best advantages is that it helps to locate the most relevant issues according to the current situation.

One of the identified disadvantages is that the sentiment modification range has a maximum of 500 posts, whereas sometimes the volume of posts to be modified is much greater.

It is a tool that allowed me to carry out monitoring in the media and social networks

The most useful thing about this tool is that it helped me detect and interpret the content of the messages that the main social actors as well as the general public generated on social networks and on the news pages, about the electoral process and, above all, of those events that could transgress the norms and laws established in a democratic election process and that could lead to possible electoral fraud. Meltwater also helped detect accounts and profiles of dubious origin that served to defame and discredit the results of the elections.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that due to the nature of the monitoring project that I carry out, I have not found anything that is unhelpful. The limitation would be the temporality of 15 months to be able to track messages from years ago. especially if one wants to do a comparative analysis by years.
On the other hand, I suggest that you can work and improve on topics such as including the language of accent marks, the letter "ñ" and other signs that are commonly used in the Spanish language.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an external consultant in anthropological research, Meltwater can be useful for me to carry out online research, specifically in the field of Netnography (online ethnography) as well as monitoring social networks and news pages. It also helped me in the analysis of data and qualitative information and in the interpretation of feelings and emotions that the social actors of interest to the project expressed on different social networks.
