Review of Engage
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use platform with great intel to help me build marketing campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tabs aren't always intuitive (i.e. explore versus monitor) for me to understand the value of each.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater provider media and social management all in one place.
Easy to use - gives great results!
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is very easy to use and porvides a LOT of data that is useful in both outreach and tracking of your coverage. Our account rep Monica has been SUCH a help to our company and is always available for our questions and needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The outreach lists aren't updated as quickly as they should. I still recieve a lot of bounceback emails from addresses no longer in service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send outreach directly to a reporter's inbox, versus it just appearing through a wire. This is so helpful in order to customize our audience of who we believe will best benefit from the news we have to share.
User friendly and easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has been a pretty easy switch from my company's previous social media scheduling platform. It is pretty user friendly and easy to navigate. The functions are pretty simple with options to make really advanced or really basic reports. Customer support has been great to answer any questions and provide help as needed. Love the daily digests as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has been a little tricky to use within our VDI system. It is not ideal that with Twitter you have to add the short link first and then the image, especially when you are doing a bulk post. Just takes a little extra time. And sometimes it seems a post may fail unexpectedly but then after reposting it's fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater has great options for reports and the daily digests are awesome to see who is talking about our organization.
I LIVE in Meltwater!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how many different tools and features Meltwater has. Every day, I use the Engage tool to schedule social media posts and Explore to monitor who is talking about our organization. Meltwater is always open on my computer, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the social scheduling tool sometimes has some quirks and is causing our social team some issues, but the Meltwater team is always very responsive and helps out immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were having trouble staying on top of trending topics in the urology world, but since using Meltwater I feel like I am much more informed!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The boolean tool, was a little complicated for me to use. But with the updates to the explore application, pulling data has become easier.
Great platform for PR and Marketing Folks
What do you like best about the product?
I love the media relations suite. Meltwater continues to update its capabilities and I am continuously amazed at the improvements made based on user feedback. I also love the responsiveness of the team. In many cases, I have reached out to my Meltwater rep or the Support team for assistance on client projects and accessing if Meltwater had the capabilities to help, and each time I have gotten a timely response.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to labal searches as you create them so that they go straight into the client folder. That is the one thing that I don't like, but I also know that is a very small issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater aggregates all the social and media mentions where a client was covered and that is super helpful as we monitor for crises, press releaes, trends, etc. And the fact that I can find all of the information in one place is a godsend.
User Friendly Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which you can submit a press release across the wire, as well as the super convenient press contact database to ensure your communications are getting to the right people at the right media outlets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I think can be improved is the ease with which you can pull the analytics from the press release distribution. The 24 and 48 hour email updates are great, but that data isn't stored anywhere within the program for future reference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing the media activity around our company and our competitors and making it easy to digest has been really helpful.
Social Listening Tool for All
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most about Meltwater is its social listening aspect. The wide range of tools and features thelp us with digital media monitoring and analysis. From media tracking and social listening (which is what we use) to journalist outreach and influencer management. The social listening tool really picks up everything worldwide which is helpful for our international business. As well, their real-time insights are beneficial, and Meltwater seems to deliver on this front. The suite's ability to track keywords, mentions, and trending topics in real-time enables us to stay on trend and on top of users talking about us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwaters platform's search engine can be a bit confusing initially. It took me some time to get a grasp of it, and refining searches to focus on what's essential for the company's keywords - it requires additional time to explore and
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform has allowed me to stay connected with our audience's evolving needs, preferences, and to help aid in any negative press. We have also used it to address customer concerns. We also just went through a name change and it helped to track mentions of who was still saying our old name vs new name.
