What do you like best about the product?
- We appreciate monitoring what is being said about our clients in different media outlets.
- Also, the tool is useful when making media clippings about competitors and/or clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
- When monitoring for clients, despite the fact that we include keywords and try to narrow the research, we frequently get ads.
- The tone of articles is often incorrect.
- The platform could be more user friendly
- Some media don't appear or certain coverage doesn't appear in searches
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- We can stay on top of what is being said about clients.
- Filters that refine the search are helpful.
- It generates a large majority of results quickly (saves us time in our busy schedule.
- We get alerts that simplify our work.

It is easy to find most of the results you are looking for and the many filters that refine the search.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ads are included in the results. The platform is not really friendly user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is a great way to be able to precise the research.

I really like working with Naya! She is devoted to giving us the best experience.

Sometimes, the coverage takes some time before it appears on the platform, making it seem more likely for us to miss coverage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier to find all coverage in one single platform.

The client services are on point and fast. Meltwater is also easy and friendly-use.

Sometimes, Meltwater has technical issues in the morning while I need it to send newsletters.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is a great tool for a number of media and communications purposes. We've used the platform for 10+ years for media monitoring, and that has consistently been the strongest point in our experience. In the past few years we've used the social platform for posting and analytics, and find it generally pretty useful for that as well. It's a good tool for day to day scheduling and monitoring, and also allows for link in bios for Instagram, which is great. We also currently have an absolutely fantastic rep who is incredibly helpful and willing to go through updates and changes to the platform and generally help with any questions or requests we might have, which makes a huge difference in the overall customer experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've found that it can be tricky for Meltwater to keep up with social media platform apis, which is understandably difficult since those all update often. This sometimes leads to changes in the Meltwater dashboard, and some of the functionality can lack intuitiveness and require a good bit of training to utilize. That's not a problem if your account rep understands and is willing to update you, but in years past we've simply been sent video tutorials and long website pages as explanations of updates. We've also found that analytics aren't always accurate, and if run side by side to native platform analytics, are often not the same. Understood that there is definitely room for user error in this regard as well, but these are some of the blips we've come up against in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is primarily most useful in media monitoring and targeted communications outreach.

What do you like best about the product?
1) Dashboards quickly showing relevant news/updates. 2) Account/help folks are very helpful. 3) Journalist/source search.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes does not collect data from high-profile sources. Some journalist contact information is out of date or general (but updates can be requested or added).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater makes it easier for me to review most or all of my media information in one place. The journalist search allows me to make sure I have the correct contact information for people that I may work with who have frequent changes in their roles.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to schedule and track posts. It is super helpful when collecting metrics for end-of-campaign reporting. It is also easy to track hashtags and engage with users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Oftentimes, tagging doesn't work through the publish feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater makes tracking conversations across all social platforms extremely simple. We track over 20 hashtags and Meltwater pulls them all in so that we can report on social analytics at the end of the campaign. Since it pulls these conversations in, we are able to engage (like, comment, etc.) with user across several platforms and we don't have to login in to a bunch of other platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Meltwater is its efficiency. You're able to search or complete lists in a timely manner, and time is money. Also, there's so much there in terms of details for a specific reporter. If you're not having success via email, you can call or try to connect via social media as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I am looking to make a massive list, and it can't handle 500 or more. There's ways around that, like tightening your search, but I wish it could handle more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater solves the problem of trying to reach intended targets. With this platform, you're able to search specific terms that help narrow down those reporters who you are specifically looking for.

I primarily utilize and appreciate two Meltwater elements: searching news coverage of our organization and relevant news contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limits to the service regarding time constraints and metric gathering.

Collection of previous news coverage, media metrics used in public-facing reports/booklets, research of relevant news contacts.
