Pain free DLP compliance with NightFall
What do you like best about the product?
Nightfall has been an excellent addition to our company's tech stack. The installation and onboarding process were a breeze, and we were impressed with how quickly we were up and running. Nightfall integrates seamlessly with all of our native cloud tools, including AWS, GCP, and Slack, which has made our work more efficient and secure.
What has really stood out to me is the software's effectiveness. I accidentally triggered an alert myself and immediately saw how the software works to prevent data loss. It's not just box-ticking compliance - it really works! Our team has limited resources, but we were able to get up and running with only one person's time, which is impressive.
Overall, I highly recommend Nightfall to any business looking for effortless compliance without the need for a lot of effort. The software is easy to use, effective, and integrates with all of our cloud tools. For sure we made the right call going with nightfall

What do you dislike about the product?
As the market leader, we found Nightfall a little on the spendy side compared to some other solutions, however, when you consider the effort we've saved having such a seamless tool, the ROI is clearly higher than competitors.

We require a DLP solution for compliance purposes, and Nightfall is ticking those boxes

Excellent cloud-native data loss protection service
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-native with Slack-based workflows that fully engage our workforce in real-time. This real-time approach helps us achieve quick visibility and remediation of detected violations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything about this very good product. However, it really needs a Bitbucket (Git) integration to cover all our core use cases. I believe this is on their short-term roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nightfall helps us identify unauthorized data transmissions. Often these do not result in significant security incidents, but help us detect company policy violations that help us correct and educate our workforce.
Easy and intelligent DLP
What do you like best about the product?
Nightfall makes monitoring our systems very user-friendly and easy to set up. It allows us to have very accurate detection with very little maintenance work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problems we have had with nightfall are occasional false positives. However, Nightfall support has helped us fine-tune our detection rules to make them as accurate as possible.

Nightfall allows us to detect if there is any unauthorized information being transmitted in our company environment.

Nightfall makes compliance easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's hard to build, and maintain, compliance with sensitive data. Nightfall makes it simple to check data for leaks in an automated way, increasing our security without increasing the team's overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
We could use a few more integrations beyond the ones supported, would like to have more full coverage of a few tools we use in the future.

Most Accurate DLP in the Market
What do you like best about the product?
Nightfall took only a few minutes to set up and has easy to-use UI. Nightfall has far fewer false positives than previous tools we had used, and the security team loves the support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nightfall covers most of the cloud applications we use, but as we add new apps we would want them to expand their coverage.

Nightfall ensures all of our cloud data is kept safe and secure.
Quick deployment and easy tuning
What do you like best about the product?
Many DLP tools are difficult or complex to implement and require significant effort to manage policies and tune out false positives. Nightfall is easy to integrate and false positives are easily and quickly tuned out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many downsides to Nightfall at all.

We use Nightfall to help detect secrets in our collaboration tools. Nightfall has helped us improve internal processes to better protect and store secrets.

Good tool and super easy to deploy throughout the environment

There can be a number of false positives if not tuned correctly

A single DLP solution that integrates with a number of SaaS solutions
Crucial management tools to get a handle on your Slack enviornment
What do you like best about the product?
Slick interface and very easy to integrate. Lots of pre defined rule sets to get you up and running fast. DLP alerts can be managed from a Slack channel and deligated to other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although tempting, I would recommend against a "fire and forget" deployment. Like many cloud platforms, Nightfall adds functionality over time, so you may be leaving features on the table if you do not revisit your config regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hipaa compliance is the big one for us. Preventing "data leakage" and reminding our users that they may be inadvertently sharing sensitive data, even if they do not realize it.
