The simplest but powerful toolkit for front end deployments.
What do you like best about the product?
It's the simplest way of unloading big features.
Example1: Custom Domain feature for multi-tenant architecture. This feature is a bit of a breakthrough for Tradly where we have been using AWS to manage all the custom domains. When Vercel released this feature, it made our job easier
Example2: Upgrade to Production of past deployments. We often ship, Where sometimes a critical bug could happen in production. With the feature of past deployments can be reused, we ignore current deployment and downgrade. And all this happens in 3-4 minutes, which is a savior.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is so many upgrades for NextJS but not many big releases in vercel. May be there is behind the work (like deploying time, etc).
Also more frameworks, I still don't find react native there.

Preview and deployment. Downgrade when it's a problem.

Beginner friendly, intuitive deployment platform for frontend apps
What do you like best about the product?
Vercel allows small teams to host static websites and JAMstack apps NextJS and React applications within a few clicks, by connecting directly to version control. For small projects, the focus is on quick deployment and continuous release, and Vercel's auto configured setup allows developers to focus on their application without having to worry about the DevOps dependencies.
It is continuously iterating to include more features such as adding cron jobs that can run at regular intervals

What do you dislike about the product?
Vercel is, at its core, a frontend hosting platform, and is largely limited when there's any sort of backend infra involved. For full stack applications, it is therefore not an all encompassing solution. There's also a few limitations when multiple developers wish to view the logs of the same project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vercel provides us a no-nonsense, fast deployment platform wherein we can push and test changes for our jamstack applications, saving considerably on release and deployment bandwidths. It also has templates and configurations built in, saving further time on customizing dependencies. It has great potential to expand its service to full stack applications, starting with minor NodeJS services, since their deployment environments are similar to those required by react applications
Good for medium size projects
What do you like best about the product?
On the fly run-time image optimisation and quick deploy at the click of a button. Marketplace has also lot of extensions like caching.
What do you dislike about the product?
The incremental static regeneration feature is not working properly and vercel has quite frequent downtimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Best provider to host NextJs stack. Since it's a managed solution it takes away our headache of managing this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your use cases are comples (like country based routing with rewrites) - its better to setup on you own. The cost also increases if your usage is more in vercel .
Best serverless deployment platform for JavaScript front-ends and websites
What do you like best about the product?
With Vercel, I and my team can deploy our website automatically in minutes and that too free of cost. We use Next.js (React Framework) for our website and front-end and deploying them is the easiest task in our application development cycle. Not only this, we also have preview (staging) deployments setup because of Vercel. This could not have been possible for a small company like ours without Vercel.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not come across any big downsides of Vercel apart from one thing - Vercel cannot let other GitHub users see the deployment logs. It is only visible for the GitHub account with which Vercel is integrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy fast immediate serverless deployments. CI/CD pipeline for our front-ends. All this at zero cost.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it if you are looking for serverless deployments of your javascript based websites.
Best Platform for Front-End
What do you like best about the product?
Best part of the Vercel is, I can integrate it many tools I used daily such as Github. I pull the project from Github and check preview mode to see if there is a problem before prod.
What do you dislike about the product?
Shopify solution seems good on Vercel but they didn't completely integrated CMS of the Shopify therefore, I think they shouldn't advice on it before the project is completely integrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a front end engineer thus, I need to visualize my code beside my local computer. Therefore, I use Vercel to see if the project is working properly. In addition, I love using Vercel with NextJS because they complete each other with image optimization, lighthouse etc.
Decent Alternative to Netlify
What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to deploy a static site quickly. It also provides multiple pre-built templates to deploy the site quickly. No need to worry about the server deployment and hosting, just push your code to version control and auto-build will be triggered by Vercel. The hobby ( free tier) plan is quite generous in terms of services offered.
What do you dislike about the product?
As such, there is no specific disadvantage, but if it supports python application, one can deploy even dynamic app on Vercel without the need to have look for any other hosting platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have hosted one of my documentation websites on it. I have used the pre-built template to edit and deploy the documentation. It was very quick as i need to enter only the data, no coding was needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Vercel is most friendly and easy to use deployment service i have ever used ! Also the admin console we can manage multiple project with ease , CI/CD pipeline is awesome .
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike , but sometimes due to third party packages i used in react leads to failed builds but found many work around for that since Vercel is popular .

I am looking for simple and hassle free CI/CD pipelining solution and Vercel seems the best.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful and Upsides of using Vercel is it is free and easy for the development of advanced JavaScript Libraries like React, Nextjs, and Vue. And one more thing in this is it is a custom domain setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful and Downsides in Vercel is it did not have the latest version of Nodejs which is lts only it is still using the old version it did not update to the latest lts version also so it is giving me some problems for my latest version required projects.

The business problems and Benefits I solved using Vercel are the best hostings and free Hosting for high leveled frameworks of javascript. It has auto-build for GitHub-linked projects and has a custom domain.
Easy Web Developing Platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful information about Vercel is it is beat and easy to host framework websites easliy. Like react, jekyll, next js and etc..,It will auto depoly builds if we make any commit to the GutHub repo which we connect to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
According to me only two things are missing in Vercel those are there is not latest version of more js it js using only old version every time when we develop the applications it make us to some difficult to run appliction latest version in this thag make to search for alternative which will give the latest version of in nodejs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I solved and benifit I got in this Vercel is it will deploy any tyoe of applications jn less than 2 min which make my appliction to deploy latest changes fastly, and another one is custom domain I saw so many that they won't give custom domain option if it host 247 fo free accounts but this Vercel do that.

Vercel is easy to use, the user experience is great and it helps me deploy apps in seconds with great logging and analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing. Especially the per seat option.
