Great tool, customer service and support.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team have been amazing, they come back with answers to any problems I have had within the same day normally. Knowing that I have that support to ensure I can get the output of data I need is reassuring. Also, the data explorer part of the tool is great, it just ensures that any custom metrics or dimensions I create are correct before I import into my reporting dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
File import data sources do not recognise new columns in excel docs, so we need to delete data sources and recreate those, this also means formulas need to update accordingly. We try to ensure that the data sets we want to report on are set in stone, but our business evolves and we need to adapt sometimes. Not a huge issue, just means 1-3 times a year we need to go through this process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Funnel solved was that a lot of our reports were in excel, which took hours each month to run and update. Funnel now automates 99.9% of those excel reports we used to create via a scheduled excel import of our raw data.

We also managed to combine data from marketing channels and our website platform to provide more insights.

What do you like best about the product?
My contact persons at funnel are really nice and motivated. They help me whenever there is a problem or a question.

The tool is really good to retrieve and aggregate data.

Funnel ia always working on new additions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is time very time consuming to set everything up in funnel. To connect all data sources, and then transform and prepare the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We couldn't set up every API to every data source on our own. We don't have the know-how and the capacity. so funnel is a big help for that.
We can know easily and automatically receive our data and have e.g. an current view on our costs.

What do you like best about the product?
Funnel makes connecting to existing or new platforms super easy. Editing an existing channel or testing something new. Funnel has us covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is slight user training and UX discovery needed to master dimensions/custom values
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making us not have to setup 30 different APIs for new and existing platforms.

Excellent Customer Service & Support + Platform Capabilities

What do you like best about the product?
Their support/training in getting started with the platform is EXCEPTIONAL. I can't imagine a better experience. The three guys that were all on both onboarding/training calls - one of which was the sales rep I've worked with since the very first touch point - were each friendly and pleasant to work with, but far beyond that, they each went above and beyond in answering questions, digging into any special requests I brought up, and providing specific use-cases and examples to learn from within the platform. I have never seen that level of genuine interest and dedication in making sure our team was set up for success with their product/service. The main tech/platform trainer had me share my screen to complete the steps on my end as we explored the platform so that I could start navigating and feeling comfortable on my own to get everything up and running as soon as possible. His training method went a long way in helping me learn the dashboard and features. They were also highly attentive and receptive to my questions and feedback. Gagan, Chris L. and Marty are rockstars! Thank you for making the transition to learning this new platform so easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing. I have a clear understanding of connecting all of our clients' data sources, setting up metrics, dimensions, filters and views, connecting the data to Data Studio and using Funnel's Data Studio report templates. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the platform set-up and capabilities at this time. As with any new platform, it takes time to learn where and how to access certain features and manipulate the data to display exactly as you're intending, but all in all, the platform seems intuitive given the level of sophistication and the comprehensiveness of the capabilities it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our agency is switching from manual reporting to automated reports. We have numerous clients each with numerous different data sources that make reporting quite the headache. Funnel offers a wide range of connectors and furthermore, they will build any custom connectors for data sources not already offered - which is amazing! They are going to save our agency so much work and effort by automating tasks we previously had to manage every month.

If it had a Insights/ML add-on would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data centralization and agility to connect and an incredible amount of sources (in or out). It is a time saver and their support team is brilliant.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The time to market in terms of BI is incredibly fast using Funnel.io If you are an agency, and you deal with a huge amount of data and have BI needs (like most), I truly recommend Funnel.

Funnel makes my daily life easier

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate, fast support, so many connection options, currency management, multiple data export option
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to pay every time there is a new premium connection (For example, for organic metrics like Facebook Page, Twitter Page, Instagram Insights, and some measurement partners) and I have to say that they are not cheap.
Sometimes the metric that I really want to see is not available or I need to connect 2 different data sources which create a duplication issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
API Connections are hard if you have no coding knowledge whatsoever, and Funnel is very good at those. I have updated report every morning thanks to Funnel

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use. Great support team who is always looking for solutions!!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
We are using Outbrain & Taboola with funnel. To get all information we need, we have to connect 2 "Sites" for OUtbrain und 3 "Sites" for Taboola. Maybe there is chance to simplify this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All Problems solved!!!! Benefits I have with Gabriel and Janelle - both have been very very very helpful and patient with us. The clear and very quick response is amazing. Stay like this.

Funnel is an excellent data platform for Marketers

What do you like best about the product?
Funnel is extremely flexible, no-code, and has an incredible support team. It's an excellent platform that allows for the visibility, transformation, and analysis of many complex data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since funnel is built for marketing data, some CRM data fields pull in a bit weird - but I know they're working on this. They are built to be more user friendly, so some engineering oriented ETL functionality found in other ETLs isn't available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing data visibility, transparency, analysis, and visualization. We're able to see all of our data in one place, analyze it, transform it, and best of all anyone on the team can do it.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, efficient & quick. Awesome customer support and happy to think a long if you have a problem.

I experience no real downsides as of now.
