Good at times
What do you like best about the product?
It has caught several serious situations including self harm and an attempted abduction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often times the system catches or flags situations that are not issues. Mention of a water gun, or what it obviously a creative writing assignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Catching student safety issues that are flagged in students' email messages.
Great for K-12 Schools
What do you like best about the product?
The email features. We occasionally need to see email chains between students for remediation and the ability to retriecve them quickly is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is that the interface can be a little clunky. It could be streamlined a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Student email monitoring. It is making disciplined easier.
Great way to monitor student files
What do you like best about the product?
The product will monitor student content for inappropriate material or self harm content. The alerts to designated admins are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
False positives at times. A little more granular monitoring may help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are up dating their product and each update makes the product more useful
Great monitoring product!
What do you like best about the product?
We use Gaggle to monitor our students' Google accounts. I love that Gaggle will notify admin of inappropriate use and student emergencies. I also like the ability to customize the level of notifications, order of notifications, and the emergency 24/7 phone calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I dislike or a downside to Gaggle. It is easy to setup, manage, and customize to meet our needs as a PreK-8 school district.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us with monitoring student usage of Google products. This allows us to see inappropriate behavior and, most importantly, provide support to students who are in emergency situations immediately.
By far the best safety filtering product for our student communication and storage tools!
What do you like best about the product?
They are so quick to find concerning emails and Drive files and report them to us. They have helped us save lives. They are consistent with email notifications and phone calls until they reach someone.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there was one thing I would say I don't like about Gaggle it is their GUI. You really have to know where to find what you are looking for if you are logging in to review anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Filtering student emails and Drive files to make sure they stay safe and appropriate in their use. If they find something, they alert us immediately. I like that they use both AI and human filtering.
Gaggle is Informative
What do you like best about the product?
Gaggle provides faculty information that will help them in assisting students with their needs outside of campus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gaggle needs to be more refined when it comes to determining whether students are in trouble or not. However, I believe in time it will improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing administrators to assess whether students are in need of assistance because of any issues that may arise outside of the classroom. Such as issues at home, cyberbullying, threatening behavior toward individuals.
Gaggle Saves Lives
What do you like best about the product?
24 hour support and real people looking at the alerts!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I don't like about Gaggle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaggle is saving lives! We have been able to save a live in another state thanks to Gaggle. It wasn't even one of our students.
Peace of Mind
What do you like best about the product?
Gaggle creates real-time alerts for student safety issues. Human review and attachments showing what alerted eliminate the false positives we had with other providers and empower school staff to follow up with students effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Gaggle is more costly than some other providers, we have found that using Gaggle has saved us time investigating false positives and managing alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaggle helps us provide peace of mind to parents and staff members concerned about student technology use. Gaggle's portal helps us to know which staff member is following up with student alerts.
Gaggles has helped Avoyelles students
What do you like best about the product?
I like the quick response of the gaggle team alerts. It has saved several lives of students in Avoyelles. It has also prevented many incidents across all ten campuses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything about Gaggle. Well worth the money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaggles has helped with social-emotional support for students by identifying warning signs to administration at each site. It has also prevented many incidents across the campuses.
Gaggle Saves the Day
What do you like best about the product?
Gaggle has caught some very serious emails that we would not otherwise have known about. The students then have been pulled aside and talked to. This product has real people readding the messages to know if something inappropriate has been written.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a delay for students to send message to teacher sometimes because the email is being looked at by Gaggle. If the time could be sped up in looking at the email it all that would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to monitor student email so something inappropriate not sent or a student trying to harm themselves.
