Working to Protect Students
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service has been great. Working with the implementation team has gone smoothly. Knowing that real people are looking at the data and information to protect students is powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The struggle I had with Gaggle was the time it took to get implemented. Nothing on Gaggle's end solely just seemed like so many hoops to get through before we could get the service working. It is hard to pay for a service but not have it used for six months during setup. Again this is not solely Gaggle as we had to jump through our own tech and service issues to get it setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaggle provides a peace of mind knowing that students are being watched when it comes to safety. The safety in terms of mental health, the safety in terms of bullying and violence as well as porn.
We have found we are now better prepared to keep our students safe with Gaggle!
What do you like best about the product?
The constant monitoring and alert system that is in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will alert you based on an assignment on borderline content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Watching for unsafe content.
Gaggle is an awesome tool for K-12
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and easy to manage. It is an awesome tool for systems to integrate into systems to keep their students safe!
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue with Gaggle is the cost. Can only use it with a small portion of our district as we don't have email for all, and its one of the most $$ programs we purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping tabs on students mental health is key to their success in school. Gaggle is very helpful in this area.

Gaggle has given us peace of mind in ensuring our students are safe and making good choices while using technology.

We love Gagle; there is nothing we would change.

We are small and now our students know that someone is looking out for them to ensure they choose to search safely and to notify us of bullying.
Helps us catch problems before they become problems
What do you like best about the product?
We only use it for email and drive monitoring. Gaggle has allowed us to spot trends and potential problems in student interactions before they blow up into something severe.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gaggle downsides? I feel like the user interface on the admin side of things could be improved. It does take some getting used to. There is a small learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaggle solves the problem of "not enough eyes." There is no way we can effective monitor student communications the way we need to without this tool. It has helped quit a bit in this regard.
Helps us keep our kids safe
What do you like best about the product?
Gaggle has let us know of students in crisis, so we were able to get the right people notified to help them
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of any downsides. Being honest. I see no reason to move away from them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It let's us know when students are dealing with violence, suicidal ideation, or drugs and alcohol.
I know that we have saved lives in our District using Gaggle.

The web portal is relatively simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It flags A LOT of information. Some of it, like a chapter in a book, should be obvious what it is.

It is helping us see the problems students are experiencing real time.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything about Gaggle is positive. You know that feeling when you've had a long day; traffic was bad, it rained, your work project is behind, and you spilled coffee on your favorite shoes? Then you go outside and the sun shines on your skin, you take a deep breath, smell the air, and just warm all over? That's Gaggle. They bring warmth to an otherwise stressful and challenging subject - student scenarios. Their support is the benchmark by which I compare other supports (love you Drew!) and their ability to quickly and effectively communicate with our teams is astonishing. Having their system under the umbrella of what we offer our staff, students, and parents brings an unparalleled level of calm to our daily student monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Is there anything? The one time they struggled with communicating a non-emergency issue, I explained my concerns and they listened and have since adjusted. So the only bad thing is I don't have enough Gagglre swag for my team. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Read my first paragraph of this review - Gaggle allows us to monitor students, sure, but it's the relationship we have with the Gaggle team that makes it so effective.
Student and staff email archiving
What do you like best about the product?
Just works! Have not seen any downtime since I do not know when.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can not think of anything at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff email archiving. Required to keep staff emails for 7 years. Student arcing and safety monitoring of email and drive.
Able to work with support directly
What do you like best about the product?
Support is willing to work with us on any questions that we need. When I called in, they were able to work with us on how to get any alerts for students that are currently going through issues at home.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing bad so far. I did wish that the service was a bit more transpartent with us about how the personal support team reviews our alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping find any issues with students and see if there are anything that the students are saying that need to be addressed. This has helped us find students that are bullied or need additional support
