Behavior Based Targeting and Communications and multi-channel support with respect to the user.
The platform features are advanced, though it needs some handholding.
What do you like best about the product?
It's analytics. We found some very deep insights by looking at the paths and cohorts.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is average compared to competitors like Moengage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Webengage is helping us gain that 5% user lost in each part of the funnel from Registration to course purchase to course completion.

Nothing critical as such. However, based on our custom business requirements, team has always helped us with the features.

Multiple use cases like engaging users for acquisition, to retention and even cross-selling. Webengage's platform enable us to orchestrate our entire customer engagement journeys.

What do you like best about the product?
The depth ness of detail which helps in building rich user segmentation and journey.

It has a bit of limited use customisation and sometimes too complex to handle.

Segmentation users for targetting marketing.
Perfect tool to build segments and send out personalised marketing campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
The way to create segments is straightforward, in the case of sending out personalised campaigns to the users via different mediums, creating segments is very easy and also these segments keep on updating real time hence it saves time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though creating on-site and web-push notifications is quite similar, the ui and user flow are very different. The former one is more difficult to follow, which thus increases the product learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to create very diverse and personalised segments to send out communication message through different channels with various other parameters like different timelines etc and here webengage helps in creating the segments which gets updated in real time very fast, also the test campaign feature is another great thing, before rolling out to the entire users it's best to test it internally and webengage allows to do so which I feel is another great feature of the platform.

Easy to use and comprehensive, with pre built insights on leads, and easily downloadable CSVs

Few features we were not able to explore as they were behind a paywall, if there could be a way where we can have a few credits to try them first before making a payment

What do you like best about the product?
The tool interface is user-friendly, making it simple to use. The Analytics & Funnel section and dashboards can aid in the efficient analysis of customer data as well as the development of an effective customer retention segmentation plan. The application of AI in the segmentation phase to create predictive segmentation results in a high conversion rate. The WebEngage CSM team provides excellent support from start to finish, from tool integration to improved campaign performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user path analysis can be improved as well if we can get insights into that. Also, the use of Gen-AI APIs in the content creation part can be very helpfull.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are primarily focused on client retention and engagement, and the tools are really useful in both areas. We employ channel marketing, which is really effective. Automation of journeys across several channels aids in lead nurturing and conversion in subscription-based products.

The fact that we can orchestrate the customer journey using webengage is a major plus for startups. This is a really effective customer engagement solution and i would recommend it to all startups...
What do you dislike about the product?
Support needs to improve as there tends to be a "take it live and forget it" attitude... There has to be better support for startups with smaller teams.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about WebEngage is how it simplifies our complex marketing needs with its intuitive journey designer - I can build multi-channel campaigns without bothering our tech team! The segmentation is incredibly powerful, letting me target specific customer groups based on their actual behaviors rather than just basic demographics. Their personalization features have transformed our messaging. The analytics dashboard gives me all the insights I need at a glance, making reporting to leadership a breeze. And I can't praise their support team enough - whenever I've hit a roadblock, they've responded quickly with practical solutions rather than generic troubleshooting.
What do you dislike about the product?
While WebEngage is excellent overall, there are a few areas for improvement. The reporting interface, though data-rich, can feel cluttered at times, making it challenging to quickly find specific metrics when I'm in a hurry. I occasionally experience minor lag times when working with large customer datasets, which can interrupt my workflow. Despite these minor drawbacks, the platform's strengths far outweigh these issues.

WebEngage solved our fragmented communication problem by unifying all messaging channels into one platform. It eliminated our data silos and inconsistent customer experiences across email, SMS, Whatsapp, and push notifications. The automated workflows have saved our team countless hours on manual campaign tasks, letting us focus on strategy instead. Our customer retention has improved through targeted re-engagement campaigns, and the analytics have revealed valuable behavior insights we were missing before.
