Great Workflow Tool for Managing Opportunities
What do you like best about the product?
The workflow is a decent way to stay on top of all of the opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is sometimes a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a more convenient way to get at this data than the built in tools Azure provides. This lowers the bar for everyone to participate.
Effortless Savings Insights with Detailed, Actionable Recommendations
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciated the ease of seeing our missed savings opportunities at one glance, and in a platform that let me quickly categorize and asses. Perhaps the best feature is the detailed information provided for each recommendation. Our infrastructure team can quickly take those details and either act with confidence or have what they need to start a research effort on the more complex changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, not having the ability to provide some granular limitations on what families of SKUs should be recommended. Unfortunately, provider quota or technical limitations sometimes prevent us from moving to the ideal resource family. I do know PointFive is working to add that in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PointFive helps us keep our cloud hosting costs under control, saving us six figures in cost every year.

What do you like best about the product?
PointFive has been easy to administer and integrates smoothly with our systems. Their pace of new feature releases is impressive, and the recent AI-driven capabilities have been genuinely useful — they’ve helped reduce manual effort and improve visibility. The platform feels modern and reliable, and their support team is consistently responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if PointFive could connect automatically with GitHub Copilot or similar tools so that AI-generated recommendations could create PRs directly. That would make automation loops even faster, especially when running infrastructure code like Terraform. Some configuration screens could also be more intuitive, but overall usability is strong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PointFive helps us streamline how we manage and monitor infrastructure changes, making it easier to identify issues early and automate remediation. Their AI-driven insights speed up our response times and reduce hours of research during incidents. It’s helped our SRE team move faster and focus more on higher-value work instead of deep manual investigations.

What do you like best about the product?
PointFive delivers cloud agnostics recommendations for resource optimization combined with detailed analytics and figures which are needed for the assessment of these cost optimization opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user group management in PointFive would probably benefit from additional layers & roles for big enterprises to make the administration easier.

PointFive delivered immediate value with an impressively quick onboarding process—we were operational within a day. This rapid implementation translated directly to ROI, as we could start optimizing costs immediately.
The platform has scaled effortlessly across our infrastructure, handling over 100 AWS and GCP accounts without performance degradation. Their customer support team has been instrumental in expanding our deployment to additional accounts and cloud environments.
A standout feature is the self-service capability. Thanks to robust multi-tenancy and SSO integration, our project teams can access and use the tool independently, reducing the operational burden on our Cloud Services team. The interface remains responsive even at scale, making it a reliable tool for our FinOps initiatives.

Great tool to help us save money!
What do you like best about the product?
PointFive was very easy to integrate with all our various cloud providers. It was so simple to finally get a single source for all our cost optimization opportunities. We know we could be more efficient but just needed PointFive to help us understand how to be more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using PointFive, it took a little while for data to start populating into PointFive after I setup an integration but it has already gotten a lot better over the past few months.

PointFive is helping us identify ways to save money on our cloud resources.
High value for opportunities savings and observability
What do you like best about the product?
I like the opportunities to investigate the waste and enhance cloud efficiency. We can save a lot of money just changing some configurations, or deleting inactive resources, and increase the FinOps culture inside the organization

The tracking between the potential savings and the real savings in the cost explorer.

Pointfive performs complex analysis and offers a very good user experience for implementing remediation workflows. Customer support is also attentive to users' requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some recommendations, while making very much sense for a regular user, should be double-checked before being assigned to the engineering teams.

PointFive makes cloud cost optimization simple and actionable. The platform’s interface is intuitive, and the recommendations are clear, prioritized, and tied directly to savings opportunities. Extensive details are included with each opportunity including the remediation workflows and ROI timelines. PointFive's product teams invest time with their customers to understand their workflows and work to accommodate them in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use PointFive as our primary reporting tool for our FinOps program. There are times when we're unable to action a savings opportunity exactly as specified, but are able to achieve cost savings that should be attributed to that resource. Being able to adjust or manually report savings achieved outside of the actions specifically recommended by the opportunity would be ideal.

What do you like best about the product?
PointFive has become a key partner in our FinOps transformation journey. As someone focused on strategic sourcing and vendor value optimization, I appreciate how their platform brings deep visibility into multi-cloud cost drivers, anomalies, and underutilized assets. Their AI-driven recommendations are precise and actionable, directly translating into quantifiable savings. The platform's intuitive dashboards, automated alerts, and forecasting capabilities have empowered our procurement and engineering teams to collaborate more effectively. Most notably, their customer success team goes beyond support—they actively help fine-tune policies, set governance thresholds, and benchmark our cloud usage against industry standards.
Notably, the POC with the platform saved us more money than 1.5 years of the fees of platform usuage. Essentially the platform paid for itself even before we committed to them and some more.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really at the moment. the platform is intuitive, reliable and helpful. Infact I would say its not just the platform and technology itself, but the onboarding and ongoing support team which differentiates PointFive from other Cloud Optimization service providers. In a world where our own workforce busy with migration exercise, Pointfive support team patiently support us, walk our teams through the platform to identify and work on savings opportunities. Kudos to the company culture for being very customer centric.

PointFive is helping us address the complexity and inefficiency of managing cloud costs across a hybrid and multi-cloud environment. Prior to using the platform, we struggled with limited visibility into cost anomalies, usage patterns, and resource allocation, making proactive financial planning difficult. PointFive’s automated insights have enabled a shift from reactive cost reviews to real-time governance, helping us enforce internal chargeback models, set cloud budgets by business unit, and identify waste. This has directly contributed to improved budget adherence, faster procurement cycles, and measurable savings.
