Great interface for R users
What do you like best about the product?
Years ago I used an interface called R Commander. That kept crashing and had to just use the Gui. Now R has a proper interface outside of just the Gui that integrates everything in one place so you can see exactly what you are working on. Biggest plus... It doesn't crash!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I don't like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I regularly analyze big data to provide insights to our executive leadership so they know what directions they should take. Having R Studio allows me to store my code and adapt it as needed when particular analyses need to be run again. Plus I can chunk segments of code and run only those parts that I need. In addition, R Studio has a bunch of innovative packages that lets me create dashboards and documents with R script built into it. when it comes time to publish the work, there is not cut and paste. It is all within housed within a single file.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The desktop product is free. There is loads of support in the community. Plus, R Studio also offers server and enterprise solutions to those that need it (pending pricing).

RStudio is like my best friend
What do you like best about the product?
RStudio is amazing. I use it every single dang day at work and at home and for everything related to R. I even use it when I'm coding in Python sometimes because the functionality is so spot on.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that I dislike about RStudio. It's a great tool and it is amazing that it is free. There are few other options when it comes to coding in R. I really love how running commands automatically makes the cursor skip to the next line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use RStudio for data manipulation, data analysis, and other types of data processing. That includes social network analysis and machine learning algorithm model building and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use it with more languages than just R!!
Great IDE
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility that R studio provides. The many format options for the final output code and its compatibility with both, mac and windows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike about R studio. One of its disadvantages, which is in a sense an advantage, is its flexibility. It allows the user to run small chunks of code at a time making it challenging sometimes to keep track of where the code is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statistical analysis for different research questions. Also, and advantage is Rnotebook which makes sharing code easy
Great for developing R projects
What do you like best about the product?
Perfect if you are into R development. GUI is great and user-friendly. The software is very easy to understand. The software gives you suggestions when writing the code which makes it easy and also helps you to track errors. You also can view graphs in this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is sometimes slow and tends to freeze when handling large data. You need to remove the past history of data and graphs in order to make space for new ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
R development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have enough memory available for this application
IDE perfecto para el lenguaje R
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using this IDE to program in R for quite some time, about 3 years. The application is robust and works quickly, especially when executing commands through the console.
Visually is not the best I've seen but this can be solved by changing the theme in the IDE configuration, where we will find more than 20 styles available to choose from themes such as the sky theme or darker for programmers who prefer these types of colors for program.
One of the best features of this IDE in my opinion is its debugger since it allows a quick and easy way to locate the point where our program is failing, also showing valuable information about the error so that we can correct it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to have different settings for the shortcut, because if you come to program in other programming languages or different IDE, you will find something lost because the keyboard shortcuts will not be the same, a different plugin or profile that would allow using the shortcut of Eclipse would be perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this IDE the programming speed is increased thanks to its auto completion since the suggestions it makes are very accurate, besides the templates that come with the files that are created are very useful for not writing the same code every time you create a new file.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This application is currently the best one to program in R since the debugger that implements executes the R language natively. In addition, the IDE allows you to modify its interface and change the sources for the one that best suits your programming preferences.
R studio is great
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, lots of good documentation
What do you dislike about the product?
packages are sometimes not all loaded properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining data analysis
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at all available packages, learn ggplot
RStudio review
What do you like best about the product?
Its a nice editor, simple and light weight.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot do anything fancy in this editor. Other editors like Visual Studio or Emacs are way more better. Above all this editor is only used for R Language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have done some data analysis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is probably best editor for R language, but for other languages there are way more better editors than this.
Good but not the best
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about the R Studio is that you see your code and the output on the single screen. Basic features like autocomplete, auto-suggestions are okay.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very slow, what I mean is it require very good hardware configuration to run R Studio smoothly. Parallel file processing is not supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the time I used R Studio for data analysis (I guess every R developer uses this software for development)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
its a good software but need bit improvements if you are using low hardware configuration I would not recommend RStudio rather I would suggest you to go with Microsoft R or alteryx analytics
A Data Scientist's best Friend- R Studio !
What do you like best about the product?
The IDE is one of the best among all the available tools. It uses R language and helps to create large projects easily. The visualization features are also excellent. Also it's open source software and is available free of cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
It consumes a lot your system memory and will be an issue if you want to multitask with many other applications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For predictive analysis, statistical and data mining problems and related tasks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
best tool for Data Science if you're using R language and it's completely free of cost
Best IDE for data analysis
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is easy to use. Open source packages and stack overflow threads handle every need for the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a memory hog with large datasets. Some of the easier to use data handling features like data frames are too inefficient to be effective with large data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exploratory data analysis and visualization. Ease of use and attractive default visualizations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it with your preferred language. It’s not limited just to R
