Instana is user friendly, convenient and a reliable tool, overall it has good features.

The features, pricing and implementation methods of instana are all good. It is very Effective and Well designed

Nothing bad as of now , Initially took time to learn.

It helps to get overview of all cloud applications, tracks performance and helps to resolve any issues faster

It would be helpful if we get features like triggering automated jobs for any given specific condition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instanta providing real time performance data and helps analysing logs which helps us in early detection and impacts control.
One of the best APM product
What do you like best about the product?
Well priced according to functionalities. Works very well containerized environments. Easy interface, alerts to slack are some great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little bit of longer time to address issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We test and deploy our container based applications on cloud based solutions and Instana APM works well with our use cases and gives a better health status of the systems. We use this with AWS service to monitor.

It's very easy and familer in problem solving

the possibility of creating dash's by mixing different information. this helps to compare, monitor and be able to think of necessary action plans depending on the evaluated result.
What do you dislike about the product?
mobile tracking, why I couldn't identify different results from the backend tracking. Perhaps encouraging or releasing mobile tracking suggestions and how to use this information is a good opportunity.

I used it to identify api errors and possible bottlenecks that could help us reduce latency for example. And this helps to compare, monitor and be able to think of necessary action plans depending on the evaluated result.

It's easy to see any ongoing issues with system and send alerts to slack.
With automation you are able to make sense of your chaotic cloud native settings thus you are able to come up with creative solutions to mitigate risks to ensure peak performance of applications at all times.

What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't allow looking of data for periods longer than one month hence this can be quite limiting when you are trying to take note of trends at certain times beyond the one one month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has greatly helped with our system monitoring where it efficiently alerts us on issues that threaten to distabilize performance of applications and thus we are able to mitigate on risks accordingly.

Easy of use, it helps me in target and debugging issues on all environments, even in realtime.

I can't find anything unhelpful, for my use everything is ok.

Targeting erroneous call, bug fixing a nd monitoring in realtime. In complex infrastructure (we use it in microservices scenario) is faster check instana instead of analyze huge log files from server.

typically monitoring production environment. It helps us finding easily the involved and not responding services in the stack

What do you like best about the product?
We strongly work with microservices, Instana allows to look for the full request path spanning different services and this provides an easy way to analyse problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
We often aren't able to visualize the full payload of requests or to see the detailed stacktrace of errors, so we need to use other tools to perform a complete analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Instana for monitoring and troubleshooting mainly in a microservice scenario. The main benefits are faster analysis and solving of problems and an easy way to display a syntethic overview of the system.
