Instana is savior when it comes to providing alerts in real time.
What do you like best about the product?
Instana is a real savior when it comes to monitoring in real-time. The tool helps us to find and recognize the issues that are occurring at a given point in time.
The upside of Instana is the wide range of topics that it covers. It gives alerts on the severity of the issue, when it triggered , running duration, and the affected entities.
Overall it provides a whole lot of information bout an issue occoured.
And hence, saves a whole lot of time and effort from a user point of view.

What do you dislike about the product?
Instana is a well-built portal, but I'm not too fond of the UI of the Instana portal.
It could have been better in terms of its aesthetics. The left-hand menu bar could be removed from there and could get converted into a collapsible drop-down.

We are using the Instana tool to help us identify and recognize the problems in Adidas Network.
Instana alerts about the ongoing issues in the network and helps us to solve them before the problem becomes a significant issue for us.

Instana is supporting lots of technologies. It is more helpful to monitor many things.
What do you dislike about the product?
We could see there is nothing to dislike in Instana.

We are using Instana for monitoring the alerts.

Proactive Monitoring Aerts help us in reporting or fixing the issue at the earliest.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I didn't observe anything which I disliked. All Good

We can solve SAM Apps(REPS/STOCKHERO/Endless Aisle/OrderHub) related issues before reporting from Stores(Business).

What do you like best about the product?
Everything we can monitor in one software. Applications, websites, Kubernetes, infrastructure, etc. It's awsome

Old data is difficult to load(3-4 months old data)

I will get the exception messages and parameters related to the call. It is helpful for debugging

the dashboard arrangement is very user friendly and helps to get a speedy analysis of the calls

The detailed error logs are missing for some calls

Instana is plug and play and you get so much of information regarding the api. It will give status regarding all api used in mobile app

Hmm nothing much. Everything seems good.

Instana provide a great way to get a lot of very good information from services and devices, no performance issues related to the agent. The agent is easy to install. Other tools have many settings to configure, Instana only one file is needed to be configured with simple steps
What do you dislike about the product?
The Instana interface is not a friendly tool, it is not too simple to get a metric or information that instana has, there are other monitoring tools that do not provide so good information as Instana does but they provide a friendly-easy way to get the information

Instana is proving an excellent way to be monitoring the environment and understand how applications are interacting. Device performance is displayed very clear, application settings-information is provided very clear and once the information is found is easy to understand the way to use it

How easy is it to find all metrics I need to evaluate across our infrastructure

Sometimes it is a little bit complicated to find the correct resource that is causing issues, especially in k8s

The hassle to evaluate the performance of our applications using Instana makes it easier to view performance metrics and take actions if necessary
Best Monitoring Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Best UI Expirience - Easy to monotor the performance of application in one view. Easy to manage db query, traffic , latency in one view.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it fails in our system. It doesnt agregate all the call count over API. So makes difficult to calculate latency over all the calls.

To Track all the performance of the application.
