Comprehensive Monitoring with Powerful Automation and Security
What do you like best about the product?
Zabbix has become our preferred solution for monitoring networks, servers, applications, virtual machines, and more. The software is suitable for both large and small businesses, and it enables us to monitor systems even through proxies. One of Zabbix's key strengths is its alerting system, which notifies us promptly in the event of serious security concerns. The platform also features automated remediation capabilities, allowing it to execute specific actions automatically when issues arise. Its comprehensive dashboard offers powerful visualizations, including maps, charts, and a variety of reporting tools. Zabbix also supports robust security features, such as the implementation of RBAC and the ability to restrict system access. Additionally, the program provides well-designed integration support, with streamlined API automation and assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zabbix demands high resources, more so in terms of hardware and database
The program has issues with documentation quality, and we face some inconsistencies on some operational guides

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Zabbix to efficiently monitor all aspects of our infrastructure, both physical and digital, including storage, networks, and servers, among others. The program is capable of detecting potential resource saturation, such as CPU overload and memory loss, which helps us prevent possible outages. Zabbix is particularly attentive to network monitoring, enabling us to assess all traffic and quickly identify any latency or threats. The application sends alert messages whenever incidents or threats are detected. To prevent the escalation of incidents, it offers robust remediation options that are immediately accessible. Zabbix also provides strong trend analysis capabilities, highlighting potential issues and allowing us to plan ahead and ensure resource availability. Its high level of compliance monitoring reduces the risk of security threats and attacks. The implementation of comprehensive remediation measures has made our system less vulnerable and more resilient.
Can Zabbix handle large scale monitoring smoothly ?
What do you like best about the product?
It is an open source monitoring tool used in Linux and it is used by our customer support to monitoring the servers. It is open source it is free which makes it a good tool to work with. We can customize the Dashboard and alerts as per our need using this tool. It is scalable and also reflects the history trends which is useful for us. It is easy to use if someone has knowledge of Linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup and configuration is tough for the new joiners. If I used to set the alerts some times it's tricky to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a monitoring tool which is used by firms it simply reduces the time which earlier consumed by checking the servers manually. If there is any services and servers it directly sends alerts which helps to reduce the downtime. Show live details of health of the servers which helps to minimize the downtime and helps to reduce problems. Zabbix stores the historical data for trend analysis and forecasting. So overall it is a very useful tool. I personally use this

Reliable Open-Source Monitoring, Ideal for Customizable Infrastructure Setups
What do you like best about the product?
Zabbix offers deep flexibility in infrastructure monitoring. We’ve used it extensively to monitor Linux and Windows servers, network devices, applications, and custom scripts. Its support for SNMP, agent-based, and agentless monitoring gives us wide coverage. The templating system is powerful — you can clone, modify, or create your own templates for complex setups. The built-in alerting and notification logic is robust, and with a bit of scripting, Zabbix can even handle self-healing workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI, while functional, feels outdated and not very intuitive for newcomers. Setting up advanced dashboards or integrating third-party data sources (like cloud metrics from AWS or Azure) often requires additional customization or external scripts. The learning curve can be steep if you're aiming for a fully automated and custom-monitored environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Zabbix to monitor over 100+ servers (both on-prem and cloud) and 300+ services including databases, load balancers, SSL certificate expiry, and disk/storage thresholds. It has drastically reduced our downtime by providing real-time alerts and historical trend data. We've implemented escalation chains, automatic ticket generation, and performance forecasting which has improved our SLA commitments.
Intimidating But Feature Rich
What do you like best about the product?
I will start by saying Zabbix was not easy to implement and not easy to integrate, even for our advanced systems administration team.
I will say that once we got it up and running, we don't know how we lived without it and it is super easy to use.
We use it every single day to track packet loss, agent uptime, internet status, hard drive space, printer metrics, basically anything we can think of, Zabbix has a way for us to track it either directly with a Zabbix agent or via some sort of API.
There is no customer support, it's all on you!

What do you dislike about the product?
Now that we're through the setup and have everything up and running, nothing at all! It's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zabbix gives us visibility in to the status of all of our infrastructure. Can't overstate the importance.
I use and manage Zabbix
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time monitoring of services, giving you the ability to know the status of incidents and prevent future problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Zabbix reports still have much room for improvement. The latest version already had improvements, but many things still need to be developed with the API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help in monitoring the infrastructure as a whole, availability of portals, network assets, database, etc.
