  • May 25, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and mobility means that my team can be on the road and manage their CRM without having to return to a computer/desk every day. We can keep up with our sales force even while travelling and have up to the minute interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing should allow for a package deal with the other Intuit products that I use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales force can no document sales interactions and make notes about clients and accounts without having access to their laptop/desktop.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It makes it straight forward for users to be able to add new items and keeps things clean. You can also have really nice custom API connections to make it even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the restrictions on the form layout can make things look odd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything, We are getting away from email even by using the notifications and alerts to drive work flow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a plan before you start. Decide on your business process, then make the system support that.

Super easy way to build customized cloud-based applications

  • April 08, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly easy to build a highly customized application. We are a marketing team that serves as a "shared service center," so we needed a tool that provides both a front-end to capture "tickets" and a back-end to manage our projects. We couldn't find any existing tools that would work with this, so we turned to Quickbase to build our own. It has worked exceptionally well for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were some more automated abilities that push Quickbase past being solely a database platform. For example, it would be great if we could build in workflows so that when someone submits a new ticket, it would automatically assign multiple tasks in a sub-table based on a workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase serves jointly as a helpdesk and project management solution for us. It has been enormously helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared to put some work into setting the system up up front. However, it is actually relatively easy to do, and the customizability is excellent. The only downside is that it's really just a powerful database - concepts like macros or similar do not exist in Quickbase.

Quickbase: Web Based Database with great programming capabilities..

  • April 08, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you are able to make API calls easily and that there is such a great community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile needs more attention. I don't like the way it only shows 2 fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tasks that took hours now take minutes. It is a great benefit to be able to inject data from one table to another upon form generation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just get it , you won't regret it.

Excellent Tool for Easily Developing Custom Applications

  • March 10, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase allows you to develop apps for just about anything you can think of or more importantly anything you need. The ability to quickly and easily manipulate data in a meaningful way is incredible. The speed of the website is extremely responsive for how much data your working with. Sometimes you forget your working within a database that isn't in the same LAN you're on. Their Security is some of the best in the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that they could work on:
Report Customization - While you most certainly can get the data you need, the ability to format that data in a more visually appealing way is very limited
Dedicated Mobile App - I know this is in the works and what is available currently does work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in the Security Industry, Access Control, Video Surveillance & Intrusion. Its exceptionally difficult (Near impossible) to find any Of the Shelf software that can handle all of the nuances that exist in this business. The ability to Create a custom process based on the way we need to work for our clients is unmatched when using Quickbase.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try everything else you can find and try quickbase last. I went through a LOT of other softwares trying to shoe horn our business into their models but there is nothing as comprehensive or as easy to customize as quickbase.

An amazing platform to build your business

  • March 01, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is one of those products that you start working on, fall in love with, and then can't imagine your life without it.

It is a simple and intuitive platform that allows a regular, non-developer to build complex applications that meet business process and workflow, without as much as one line of code.

Having tried to use other systems to attempt the same, I could easily see the difference in usability, and getting to a final result. The other would've taken months to just learn them, and more months to being building the application.

Quickbase is a versatile product, for simple things like storing flat tables, but its power comes in when you start working with relational databases, and reporting. It sounds more complicated than it really is.

If you're in the market for such a product, or are currently dabbling with software like Filemaker, do yourself a favor and check out Quickbase first ... you'll be thankful you did.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one main issue I have with Quickbase is the very minimal ability to format and brand your reports.
The report features are very rich, and the data is amazing, however, sending that to a client directly from Quickbase is almost impossible, which requires the use of 3rd party software, almost always.

For internal use, it's perfect though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a hosting business, with a unique set of parameters that need to be tracked, so an out of the box product simply wouldn't have accommodated those needs.
With Quickbase, I was able to create both a CRM, a link to all resources, and a ton of other pieces that made the workflow seamless. There is still work that needs to be done, but the ability to go to the Quickbase application, and change the schema to match a new business process is invaluable, and I've never had to hire a developer to do any of those things. (I'm not a developer, myself, I just know how to use Excel :) )
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking at a product that falls within the competition...
1- Realize that it's not really a competitor. (I say that so confidently, because Quickbase's feature-set makes it quite unique)
2- Also be aware that you'd need to be working on multiple aspects of that product. (i.e: database design, then front-end, at a minimum)
3- You will almost certainly require at least one if not more than one developer / database architect to do the same thing you can do yourself with Quickbase.

Terrific Platform for all companies

  • February 25, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and helps organize data very well. So much better than excel spreadsheets when having multiple users enter and edit and delete data on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of right now. It's very user friendly and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better than using Excel spreadsheets for having multiple users involved in entering, editing, and deleting data for our clients and internal employees. We use it for a lot of things and will continue to utilize it for many more going forward. Great platform which can be useful for all companies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give Quick Base a try and I am confident you will find it much more useful than excel or any other type of platform you are using now.

Game Changer!

  • October 19, 2015
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We have developed several Quickbase applications to use in our organization. The ability to customize the product to meet our unique needs is something we couldn't find in any competing products. I like to use the analogy that the competing products are trendy lofts in the city. They may look cool but the possibilities are very limited. Quickbase is like a custom built home on a large lot where you can customize every detail and grow with your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Service with QB is difficult since the product is so customized it is sometimes hard to explain how you have built or are using the product,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Professional Services, IT implementation, collaboration with our organization.

The most effective cross-industry and cross-functional platform with enterprise level security

  • July 17, 2015
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is an enterprise-grade, flexible platform providing any size businesses with a full-stack solution to solve all types of business problems. With downloadable ready-to-use Applications for many types of functions and workflows, Quickbase offers businesses a jump start to solve data and workflow challenges across any industry. Quickbase can be customized to work for field staff and management providing real-time data insights on easy to configure dashboards and offers built-in report functionality including table-record views, summary (totals), charts, maps, and timeline. Applications can be built in minutes using the AI app builder, or a more manual effort can take just a few hours with more complex architecture being completed in days. The flexibility of Quickbase means that small adjustments that make a sizeable difference to the business can be made in just minutes with the no-code interface. There is a large Partner group, online resource tools and Quickbase-specific training available for the citizen developer.

Deploy in a day, upgrade as needed, build automated workflows using the multiple automated flow technologies available and you will quickly see how Quickbase is a must-have for your business.

Connected tables, Pipelines technology and 3rd-party middleware make Quickbase an end-user dream with enterprise-grade connectivity and security. With user-generated emails, user-generated reports you empower your end-users to create the reporting and notification system they need to become more productive, more informed and more efficient.

No longer do you have to conform your business to fit the system; the system can finally work for you, architected to support your business model and team design.

Quickbase can solve a single business workflow problem, support a team or run an entire business. One app or multiple apps can all connect together to segregate function and user workflow. The value of Quickbase comes from how genuinely easy it is to deploy an Application to its customizability to support complex business workflows and its ability to integrate with legacy systems.

Customer Support is via email; and there is a thriving community of support both inside the platform and outside the platform.

Quickbase gives you the pre-built building block to catapult your data capture, reporting and real-time decision-making into a reality. Quickbase becomes the system used daily to get the work done and communicate in real time to the entire business.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are plenty of Quickbase Partners, a thriving user Community and Discord community, Quickbase online resources/documentation, a Quickbase University to teach you everything you need to know and specialist Partner resources for niche development for niche needs that natively Quickbase does not offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using spreadsheets for heavy lifting of a business is one formula away from a disaster. Quickbase allows you to ingest, report, disect and disseminate information in meaningful ways to anyone in real-time. Decision making from Management can be made without meetings, users can build their own reports to meet their individual needs and access to data is controlled by you, the business. Control what is visible to who, and when. Limit the ability to create data or delete data. Across many business I work with in various industries, Quickbase is solving problems the large enterprise-solutions cannot. If you have tried Quickbase before, you should try it again - it has evolved! If you are not succeeding in your goals, you may have made a simple error architecturally in the Application design - an easy fix. The power of Pipelines to automate data workflow around your Apps or into/from other solutions is what makes Quickbase enterprise-grade; but any opportunity to automate a mundane repetitive process is simply smart business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to make the most of the online resources (Knowledge Base and Community Forum). When you need more dedicated help, reach out to a QuickBase QSP or independent Consultant for advice - you will be surprised how easy it could be to achieve what you are struggling with by yourself.
