New Quickbase User
What do you like best about the product?
The system is fairly easy to get aquainted with. There are great; free online resources at Quickbase University. I love the versitility of the platform. If you can think of it, you can probably do it in quickbase. I also like the ease of use and the UI for building apps. There are also a ton of integration options pending your companies availibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve pending on what you would like to build.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase saves me from having to to go thru an aquisition and cost of a new tool, or the long cycle of having something developed by the technology team. Also, gives me, the expert on the app i built, the ability to maintain and fix things that may go wrong.
Quickbase Admin
What do you like best about the product?
It is a user friendly tool and a the Project Managers live by it
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit high per user but we make it work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can add tasks for the different departments to act upon
Useful for no-code, but very expensive for multiple users
What do you like best about the product?
The real reason we use Quickbase is for no-code data management and pipelines. If I got hit by a bus, my team might be able to figure out Quickbase, but would be lost with a standard solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbase is very expensive. If my team were more "up-to-date" with modern data solutions, we would be using open source tools and building our own UI for them, because the development cost would quickly pay for itself, compared to Quickbase.
Quickbase's computing started bottlenecking, around the same time as the FastField integrations (I don't remember the exact timeline). Forms seem to load slower, and transactions to the db seem to take slightly longer to complete.

No-code solution for app development; my non-technical team might be able to figure it out (as opposed to other solutions), if I suddenly disappeared.
Quick Base is a flexible platform to handle your business information
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Quick Base is fully customizable. Our company started with it as a basic CRM software and over time we have integrated into our business end-to-end. Seriously, the only phase of the business not touched by Quick Base is banking. If you have the ability to make basic functions in Excel, you can learn how to use Quick Base and make it work for your business. It's a lot easier to use than you would think, because the system is "low code" and relies on basic concepts like conditional statements and table relationships. Whenever I come up with an idea, the time from idea to implementation is incredibly short and the process is easy. We use it all day, every day and it's hard to imagine life without it. The few time's I've reachout to customer support, everyone I've dealt with has been very helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
The one real downside about Quick Base is the minimum required users. If you have a small company, it may be a stretch to afford as you'll be required to have more users than you'll need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to see information about our business that we've never had access to in the past... it's helped us be more aware of trends and address issues more quickly than in the past. Now we're using actual data, not just "feelings" about how the business is doing.

Expensive, especially for small teams or solo projects.
Expensive, especially for small teams or solo projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good for developing small applications where budget doesn't allow custom build or dedicated software development resources.
Deeply customizable for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
The product offers a lot of customization to the table, reports, charts which is great for serving custom requests of clients
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not intuitive. We need to go through the tutorial to understand the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
a no code tool to share our data
Overall I'm happy to be working with Quickbase but I wish it was easier to learn skills.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to build out and eventually consume parts of our tech stack and replace it with quickbase under a single umbrella.
What do you dislike about the product?
Access to working examples of QBL, formulas, that I can replicate for my own purposes. Slow response time and limited action from support and the team I'm working with to help take the load off of my plate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining information from multiple sources to create a more consolidated view of our data which will improve collaboration, communication and in turn, efficiency.
Extremely Satisfied Independent Consultant
What do you like best about the product?
Quick base has the most simplified plug and play automation system i have used. The helpful insights built into the platform is a step above the rest. Everything i needed assistance on a form rules, formula, or how to effectively smooth out a tough issue, the support staff was very insightful. What I enjoyed most. If there was an issue that was tough to find an answer for, the technical assistant would honestly say I don't know and would get back to me with an answer. That kind of honesty, you don't find in many places. I appreciated that greatly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing tjat i didnt enjoy, I enjoyed using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped me to automated years of Excel spreadsheet data for a large pharmaceutical company.
Simple and on point
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using QB for the last 2 years for tracking purposes. I like that its simple and has an easy interface and its straight forward. It makes it easy to get updated especially being able to pull reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using quickbase everyday and I dont have something to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I mentioned, I am using quickbase everyday and I did not encounter any problems with it.
Great overall service with a few quirks
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to set up tables and get a proof of concept working quickly. Theres a lot of really nice point and clock options that makes designing tables and processes really easy. Their UI is tasteful and clean, and the ease of creating access roles and their screens is also very simple and easy. They give you a lot of power with some aspects to the site, like allowing java script in formulas and allowing automations to hit an API endpoint (super awesome by the way)
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres a lot of weird quirks and things the service can't do. Like it can't do a one to one relationship between tables, that's a super basic thing that it simply can't do. I also don't like that they're trying to abandon certain features to move towards paid versions of those features (i.e. pipelines); then when you need to move to those features their migration tool doesn't work and they expect you to make everything again by scratch. A downside of the point and click creation process is that everything is buried in menus, so you have to memorize where everything is anytime you need to make a change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this as a data entry tool for some of our departments and it ties in directly to our data warehouse via qunect. We also built a permissions management tool with the necessary approval processes. Also have a hire tracking system implemented for HR to track requirement processes and status
