KCS App /We use Quickbase to document all interactions with customers
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase allows us to customize our ticket system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbase has had one short period where it lost some data, although we worked with the support team and it was recovered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to see how many customers we are serving every day, month, quarter and year. It also allows us to look at trends and to create information for monthly reports and to make decisions.
Custom Built Experience to Streamline Business Processes
What do you like best about the product?
The support team at Quickbase is amazing. They are receptive to our business and very accessible. They look out for our business needs and see the customer business as the priority. They are also incredible patient when it comes to explaning processes and/or switching owners. They are flexible in making changes to help us be as effective as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Old environments are difficult to remove, and sometimes that makes the platform a little cluttered. But nothing we can't work around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using QB to execute cross functional processes with multiple business units. It also helps us track historical information, which helps with account transfers and YoY strategy.
Flexible, powerful platform for app development
What do you like best about the product?
Pretty easy to build the basics of an app, even for people with little to no coding experience. Flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting functions have improved over time but could still be better. Would love to be able to name reports before downloading, not have them default to CSV files with no formatting, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a system that we could customize as needed to allow us to track participant peformance in our programs, that have different needs and requirements per different funding sources.
Works great for what we use it for.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track jobs and stay up to date on projects is key for our business and this works great for that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the downside would be the programming our app to what we need it to do. No one at our company has the most knowledge on how to do this but we usually figure it out. But we do have problems implementing certain things at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase helps us organize our projects and customer database for other employees at other vacations to be able to update as well.
Scalable and user-friendly with amazing customer service and ample resources
What do you like best about the product?
I've been in IT for 10 years and the extensive resources availble even with the basic package are unparalleled. I find the community to be more helpful than even larger communities like Microsoft where there are more answer that lead you astray.
Moreover, if you get the package with access to engineer hours (goes by a different name), their work and follow-up is amazing and honestly, made me, as the IT Analyst, look good.
They are thorough in their work, respectful of time and send follow-ups to every meeting within hours with the recorded video of the meeting.
If you do not have any engineer hours, you can still go to the 'office hours' and have the ability to ask questions of an engineer without an additional charge and they walk through examples in their sandbox.
As far as usability, it is extremely user-friendly for low-code solutions as well as having the ability to use an API and Jinja to create even more custom solutions.
The AI for creating apps is pretty impressive.

What do you dislike about the product?
The AI for creating reports is not useful at all. I've tried it a couple times and just tell others not to bother with it. Creating reports is the least user-friendly part. It's a bit clunky and requires more knowledge of tables and fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Quickbase to replace all the manual overhead of collecting data by paper forms and adding them to a spreadsheet. This allows much faster collection of data since a lot of the data is collected on the field . Additionally, the permission segregation allows any user or groups of users to see all the reports and data that is only applicable to them so we're more easily able to keep sensitive data on a need-to-know basis.
Quickbase is more customizable... if you really know what you are doing.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is customizeable, but there is a learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve and the fact that so few people and organizations know Quickbase and are familiar with it, unlike Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database organization.
Intuitive Platform for Efficient Data Management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Quickbase is very intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't require a lot of training, which makes it easier for us to teach new employees how to use it. The setup was also very easy because it's so user intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tables and charting in Quickbase could be improved. It is often hard to see all of the information on one screen due to the column layouts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Quickbase to organize and analyze customer reviews, turning them into usable data for business needs. It solves data organization challenges, enabling quick analysis and business-wide data transfers.
Simple and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and it's simplicity in the emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's frequency of emails and the hour it is sent at
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our team nationwide to see what projects are happening that given day.

What do you like best about the product?
I would say that it is its flexibility. We can pretty much customize it in order to reflect our particular needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
More automation / AI would be great in order to improve efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a hydrid of a CRM and a project management tool for us is quite helpful.
Quickbase: It's pretty good!
What do you like best about the product?
I think Quickbase strikes the balance between low/no code configuration while still offering very powerful customization for more technically advanced users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like with and Low/No code application sometimes you run into frustrating or confusing constraints, thankfully the Quickbase community is full of helpful solutions and workarounds.

Quickbase is the core application powering our business.
