Maybe the faster NoSQL database
What do you like best about the product?
Its price is not high for everything it offers, even if we don't use all its functions. It processes information in a short time. The company's customer service is excellent, and I love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing really negative about ScyllaBD. It is a little difficult to understand for non-programmers or novices, but it is not an inaccessible program. It is excellent software for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use the software to generate reports. It is also helpful for backups and restores, especially in operations equipment. ScyllaDB quickly restores to the latest version when a problem occurs. We can even access previous versions in our database without interrupting the workflow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Contact support if you don't understand something. The documentation is a bit sparse, but it is worth learning how to use it. I also highly recommend taking Scylla University to get the most out of the use of the program.
Great NoSQL Database as Cassandra Alternative
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and Cloud Native. Like Cassandra, but even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing to report. We also use Azure, and it's not yet there yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A large scale distributed DB in the cloud where Cassandra was also being considered
Extremely Powerful Database, and Education System
What do you like best about the product?
Scylla DB has helped us scale an extensive event-driven system within my company that is at the core of our product, fearlessly and seemlessly. It's a system that can't afford any potential downtime, and with Scylla at the heart, our read and write latencies have been excellent even at our peak hours! Another thing I love about the Scylla Org is Scylla University, it provides extremely helpful resources getting up and running with Scylla, and also best practices in how to model data, which is extremely helpful as I come from a relational database background.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coming from a developer background, I still find the overhead of manual deployments a painful experience, between standing up EC2 instances on AWS and making sure configs match can be a source of a headache. Luckily the Scylla team has been pushing their K8 Operator forward so that I can get the benefits of a quick standup of a cluster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving a significant issue of tech debt with Scylla. We've migrated our event-driven architecture where we collect our user's health stats and data through our platform that was written initially to a MongoDB store that was becoming an unwieldy monolith, to Scylla, which sped up our response times to customers when they wanted that data and also enabled us to store even more information robustly. We've unlocked ourselves from this monolithic architecture with Mongo to a highly extendable, modular platform with Scylla providing the performance we need at the scale we want at the heart of it all!
ScyllaDB review
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best NoSQL Database in my opinion is the ScyllaDB. The Scylla clusters with automatic backup are accessed by ScyllaDB, I like the performance of ScyllaDB and security hardening aswell.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike about the context switch, the threads require a context switch that is slow and also the lack of multi partition transactions, these are dislikes in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I'm solving with ScyllaDB is to store the unstructured data. And also the cloud is the best. I can manage clusters with automatic backup as well. So overall ScyllaDB is the best in my opinion.
Promising
What do you like best about the product?
The alternative solution for Cassandra to improve the performance while using Janus Graph is to store the data in a graph structure
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have been great to see reference/sample configuration for Scylla db with Janus graph to achieve greater performance. currently, it is missing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to improve the performance of the back-end system while using Janus graph for storing data in a graph structure.
One of the best NoSQL Database
What do you like best about the product?
ScyllaDB is extremely fast when it comes to the processing of data. It works without any latency with High-intensity applications. When it comes to technology, the whole codebase is open source. It means that you can also contribute to the project. The multi-core servers, along with the database's compatibility with Cassandra and DynamoDB, are beneficial. Also, there is the ScyllaDB university for those who want to learn about NoSQL from scratch and get a certification. ScyllaDB is scalable with always on availability with high throughputs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used ScyllaDB and have taken ScyllaDB's courses. I haven't found any problem so far. So, nothing to dislike from my side. Some more programs related to the DevRel part can be good. Also, the documentation is well documented, but a "write for us" program will be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are several problems that I was facing before using ScyllaDB. I was having trouble with data processing and latency. Thanks to ScyllaDB for solving that. Plus, I had to manage my database manually, but with ScyllaDB, I got to experience a fully managed service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend others to use ScyllaDB to get a fully managed, open-source, and scalable NoSQL database experience.
Scylla is the real-time big data database that is API-compatible with Apache and manny more

The monstrously-fast NoSQL database, having compatibility with real-time big data database that is API-compatible with Apache and many more inetgrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documenataion is a bit challenging part , apart form this

materialized views, global and local secondary indexes, workload prioritization, and a DynamoDB-compatible API.
A good NoSql DB
What do you like best about the product?
The scalability and the speed of the ScyllaDB is fantastic
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the documentation is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to use ScyllaDB to manage a large pool of JSON documents

This product is one of the best NoSQL databases that I know
Worry Less and Trust Scylla
What do you like best about the product?
Scylla has been with our engineering team as a native data store for our production environment. With an organization that's growing and rapidly building with microservices, the need for consistent and reliable data operations simultaneously on the same data by all those microservices increases a lot. But thanks to Scylla that enables us to meet the customer expectations with such low latency provisioning. Not only that but also we are able to provide high-standard experiences that are personalized for the specific target of users rapidly, as Scylla allows us to operate on profiles with the least possible latency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, we would like to see more production use cases with best practices implemented for those belonging to different industries.
Moreover, the enterprise plan can be more flexible so that the organizations will easily manage the finances in case they wanna switch and try.
Last but not the least, Scylla University is a great initiative for training but we would love to see more professional standard curriculums for the corporate employees to train with.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ScyllaDB has been robust and fast for our use cases and we even trust it with our production loads. The most notable thing is its low-latency structure which is very true while you're running the loads which save time and resources and indeed help cut off the cost. Another great thing is that it's almost likely synonymous with Cassandra and the Query Language is not so different from the standard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest that one must know the use cases for which they want to use ScyllaDB before taking the call. Scylla is absolutely awesome in providing low-latency data operations and hence is a must recommend DB.
Fast & Stress Free
What do you like best about the product?
Queries are really very responsive. The Speed when viewing the data and consistency are loved by the users. Report Analysis became very simple & easy after using ScyllaDB.
What do you dislike about the product?
The license cost was somewhat high, despite the benefits. There are many things that many organization teams may feel that ScyllaDB will be very helpful in their projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device data querying helps to deliver value-added services to the business and the customers. Query writes are also very consistent. ScyllaDB infrastructure is very well managed & up-to-date.
