Deep insights + broad context = great app!
What do you like best about the product?
Productiv integrates natively with so many of the SaaS apps we use and provides a comprehensive and accurate single pane-of-glass view into our environment. Being able to correlate apps with contracts at a glance is extremely useful, and the notifications for upcoming contract terms help us stay proactive and plan effectively.
The customer service is excellent, too. Our AE is responsive, knowledgeable, and helps drive meaningful conversations internally, and facilitates communications with Productiv. All-around great product and great team in place.

What do you dislike about the product?
The App Catalog product could be more robust. Updating descriptions of apps is cumbersome and inflexible, and I'd like tighter integration into third-party ITSM and IdP products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily helps with a landscape of what's currently in the environment, particularly helpful for new employees who need an overview of the vendor and SaaS platforms in use. Provides a ton of historical context. Enables laser-focused auditing and inspection of apps with outsized costs based on underutilized licenses or duplicates in the environment.

Amazing visibility and ability to get control of your SaaS spend
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very intuitive; the product has a level of sophistication that helps all levels of users to find the information they need easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I don't like yet. As I utilize the product more and more, there might be things down the road that I would ask to have modified for better usage capabilities .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most SaaS products don't give you all the information you need to make educated decisions. You often can't even easily see how many people are truly logging in to a system. The vendor has no incentive to provide this oftentimes. Productiv is agnostic and will provide all the information that is needed to show usage, spend, when your renewals are, and it's all made very easy to access through the interface.

What do you like best about the product?
Two things - discovery of shadow IT by connecting to our financial systems. The Productiv engine is very good at identifying SaaS spend. Secondly - active usage of licenses. Productiv allows visibility without the need for an admin to run a report.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are large and attributing the spend to the correct business unit is challenging but Productiv is working on making that easier to identify.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bit of an overlap answer but discovery and usage are the benefits we are seeing.
Productiv is vital for Software Asset Managers
What do you like best about the product?
With these tough economic times impacting all businesses, I love the recommended rightsizing feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I would say I generally dislike. Nothing that is Productiv's issues comes to mind. Just some general house cleaning on our end and maybe lack of visibility at the hands of certain vendors like Adobe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productiv is helping us organize our Saas products and provide visibility into usage, cost, etc. We can generate better reporting, renewal calendars, rightsize capabilities, and more!
Wonderful system for SaaS Management and excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
It is one central source of truth. Direct app connections and retrieving information from multiple sources ensure that we have all the needed information at our fingertips. I also appreciate that the teams listen to our questions, requests and input. The support from our customer success manager is on a level I have never experienced with any other vendor. It is truly a partnership

I don't think there is anything I dislike - perhaps some requests/recommendations I have, but this is actively discussed and worked on by Productiv team and resolved very quickly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting data from multiple sources (SSO, contracts, direct app integrations, spend data, etc.) to become a source of truth for all SaaS contracts to ensure we know what tools we have/use, flag any inconsistencies, ensure our licences are optimized, benchmarking to negotiate better deals and renewal information to ensure that renewals/terminations happen in a timely manner. It is the ultimate source of truth for anything SaaS related

What do you like best about the product?
Productiv takes things a step further than most products, and leverages usage data to recommend how we could reclaim licenses. It's been really helpful when looking to find budget for moving apps to higher level SKU's.
What do you dislike about the product?
What the actual product lacks, is entirely made up in the dedication of their CSM team. Everyone I've met and worked with has been great, and always willing to help us improve our software management capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productiv gives us insights into our Software spend, who's using certain tools, and it provides us with an action plan to improve how we manage tools for employees.
Great SaaS Management Solution!
What do you like best about the product?
There are many components of Productiv that are helpful when it comes to SaaS, but the feature that is proving to be the best is the Shadow IT discovery. This feature allows us to not only identify the software that is being used by an individual or team but also highlights the amount of compliance data associated with the application. Another pivotal piece of Productiv has surfaced our overall SaaS spend for the last 12 months across all applications (discovered/ non discovered). This feature has given us visibility into very elusive information and allows us to make more strategic decisions regarding software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not any dislikes that I have for the product. I am looking forward to the feature roadmap that will make the software a better solution. The amount of work that the team does with the company's size is remarkable. The one feedback item that I have is that Customer support needs some work on response time and getting to solutions.

1/ Company software spend- We now have an accurate number on our overall SaaS spend in a central location that is updated practically in real-time
2/ Inactive users- We have identified on an individual software level the number of inactive users and utilized the workflows within Productiv to action on users and reduce license count.
3/ Budget Planning- We have identified system owners and can now align actual software spend to budgeted software spend

The answer for our SAAS management needs
What do you like best about the product?
Productiv has proven to be a powerful tool in our search for a SAAS management platform. Prior to Productiv, we were primarily working off of a spreadsheet to track managed applications, application owners, access and security information, and company contacts. Through Productiv, we've been able to replace all of this spreadsheet and more while at the same time, getting a more complete picture of all the applications in our environment as well as important statistics on applications renewals.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are very happy with the available features of Productiv as well as the ease of setting it up and utilizing it from the get-go. Any time we've ran into a potential issue where some fields we would like weren't available or some functionality was missing, Productiv has been very responsive in taking our requests seriously and worked with us to find a solution to these areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are primarily using Productiv for our SAAS management in terms of painting a complete picture as to what applications are available in our environment, who owns those applications, what our spend is in those applications, and when our contracts are stated for renewal. We also use custom attributes to track other internal information for security purposes.
Easy Overview of All Systems
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a fan of how Productiv shows me who's in different systems, what type of access they have, and overall how many users per dept are active. Producitv allows us to get an idea of what apps are used, and set a more uniform list of apps approved by the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more connectors were available, as they are the most significant key with setting provisioning workflows, etc. While Productiv has a limited range for this, I know there will be more options in the future. Once this is in place, I'm excited to be able to set up monthly workflows that automatically deprovision and downgrade accounts as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant benefit has been financial. We were able to remove some systems in place that had too many users not active and save over $10,000 this year. Also, we are able to see what platforms are being used, which apps are compliant with SOC2 and more.

Not enough direct connectors on standard applications.
