  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Highly customizable workflows: You can define your own statuses, transitions, and rules per project.
Strong reporting and dashboard tools: Great for visualizing velocity, sprint progress, burndown charts, and team workload.
Seamless integration with Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, etc.: It connects very well within an Atlassian ecosystem and beyond.
Permission control & roles: You can tightly manage what different users can see and do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sluggish performance in large projects: Boards and issue lists can become slow or laggy if you’re managing thousands of issues.
Too many clicks to do simple tasks: Routine actions like changing status, assigning tasks, or updating fields can feel unnecessarily cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track tasks, bugs, and progress in real-time
Organize agile workflows (like sprints, backlogs, and epics) with clarity
Generate reports for velocity, burndown, and workload—great for retros and planning
Improve team accountability by assigning clear owners and deadlines to tasks
Maintain traceability and history for compliance, audits, or continuous improvement

Jira Review

  • August 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is how it helps keep everything organized. It makes it easy to track tasks, collaborate with the team, and stay on top of deadlines. I also really appreciate how customizable it is—you can adapt it to fit your workflow instead of the other way around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jira can feel a bit overwhelming because of its many features. It can be slow or complicated when setting up workflows or dashboards, and it takes time to get used to all the customization options. For new users, the learning curve can be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us solve the challenge of keeping our projects organized and on track. It makes it easier to assign tasks, track progress, and ensure accountability across the team. As a result, we waste less time figuring out who’s doing what and spend more time actually building and delivering software.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is built for agile and scrum workflows which includes sprints, epics and story points. Easy ticket creation and managing. Various integrations such as with slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve to get the best out of Jira. The filters and configurations are a bit complex. Pricing is steep for enterprise solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps with bug and task tracking. Tickets are easy to find and everyone in the team can see what is being worked on, what is done and what is still in the backlog.

Jira review for usage for task timing and Epics

  • August 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps us to manage sprints by creating epics, tasks, and subtasks. Timing logging tracks our efforts, and burndown charts show sprint progress over 10 days sprint ( every 2 weeks). It’s also useful for handling bugs and CRM issues, making easier to stay organized, monitor performance, and resolve problems efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it’s difficult to understand it’s working. we shoudl log the timing at subtaks level and if we logged at task level it’s difficult to update and if you have not given proper team name than task will not show in backlogs of your board.
but that should be helped by SCRUM master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us prioritze and manage tasks, epic, and user stories with clear deadlines. It tracks bugs and CRM issues, keeping the team informed about who is working on what. The history and progress tracking are valuable for year-end revies, showing detailed contributions and performance. It’s excellent for organized, time-based work management.

Everyday necessity to run a long term project!!

  • August 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being in services based IT firm, I have done nearly 40+ SaaS projects on JIRA. It works great to keep things on track between multiple cross-functional teams and we never loose track of anything.

The flexibility of custom workflows enables complete SDLC team from definition, design, user stories, development, QA and support.

We are also using JIRA for our Sales Funnel and it is super helpful!!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is pretty okayish when it comes to small projects and I guess that's where Trello or Asana comes in with better experience.

Another thing is Jira has not adopted AI yet. For example I would like to just log in and open up my mic to ask for tickets related to me, what are my action items and where activity happened so I could see relevant information coming in along with metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Keeping larger teams connected. I've a project in which we got 90+ resources working on from 7 different teams; Design, BA, QA, Engineering and DevOps. We have over 12,000 issues under this project but we never lost track of it due to smart workflow strategy that we could only enable with help of JIRA flexible features.

2. Customized Workflow flexibility for each project enables to run almost every nature of the project.

3. Performance monitoring charts is something we recently adopted and its a win win for our strategy, team planning and to keep a balance of availability vs billability of resources.
