Unmatched Customization and Integration Powerhouse

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The strongest advantage of Jira is how customizable and adaptable it is. Teams can modify workflows, screens, fields, and permissions to match exactly how their process works. Scrum teams benefit from its sprint boards, burndown charts, backlog grooming, and story point tracking. The ability to integrate with tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, Slack, Confluence, and CI/CD systems makes Jira a central hub for planning and tracking work from start to finish.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira's biggest drawback is its complexity. The interface can be dense, especially for new users who see many menus and configuration options. Setting up workflows, screens, and custom rules might require deep knowledge or admin support. If a workspace has been poorly configured over time, Jira can become cluttered with unnecessary issue types, long forms, and confusing statuses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of unorganized project work. Without Jira, teams often rely on scattered information across tools like Excel sheets, emails, and chat threads, making it difficult to track responsibilities and deadlines. Jira provides a structured and transparent system where everyone knows what they are working on, deadlines are clear, priorities are visible, progress is measurable, and collaboration becomes easier. Managers get visibility into team capacity and project status, while contributors get clarity on their individual tasks.

Essential Tool for Agile Teams and Seamless Project Management

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We rely heavily on Jira every day to manage our product tickets, as we follow Agile Methodology. As a software developer, I find it helpful for tracking, managing, and logging my engineering work, from gathering requirements all the way to deployment. I appreciate how easy it is to create sub-tasks, log working hours, add comments, and review ticket history. The ability to create multiple boards and customize workflows for different processes is also very useful. We use Jira to prioritize work, maintain sprints, and conduct retrospective meetings using the board. I also use ROVO AI to rewrite descriptions, generate text, and fix my phrases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is an industry-grade software with extensive integrations and specialized terminology. However, I feel there is a significant lack of awareness among developers about how to use it effectively. Often, people are unsure how to navigate the system and become confused by the processes involved. With so many attributes to fill in—both mandatory and optional fields—it can be overwhelming, and I think there should be a way to simplify these options. Additionally, when dealing with dependent tickets and relationships between them, managing everything can become quite hectic. I believe that having a visual diagram would be helpful, especially when handling complex relationships between tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team uses the agile methodology and depends on Jira during our daily standup calls to discuss blockers, share updates on our work, and review upcoming tasks. This process benefits product managers, developers, QA, and the scrum master by helping them plan, track, and manage OKR items. It also plays a key role in keeping the team aligned, making sure everyone collaborates effectively to fulfill their individual responsibilities. We also use automations to pick up tickets that needs to be test on specific environments and maybe deployed using the ticket fields. We also have a board to track RCA items that causes product downtimes.

Centralized Project Management with Seamless Team Collaboration

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It offers a centralized space for several projects and offer different team members to access to the same workflow while also creating individual dashboards. This allows both, individual and team effort tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The programming of the workflow in the backend can be a bit tough and sometimes certain automations doesn't work as expected,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Individual tickets creation and tracking. Prior to implementing Jira as a ticket creating tool we had several road blockers in our project's planning since we had to manually assign and update tickets in another tool, while with Jira, we have an automatization that assigns the specific team member depending on the stage of the project.

A reliable project management platform that keeps teams organized and on-track.

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is how well it organizes the entire workflow for our team. Tasks, Bugs, sprints, everything stays in one place. The agile boards are extremely easy to follow, and it becomes clear very quickly who is working on what and where the bottlenecks are. The customization options are a big plus. You can design your own workflows, create custom issue types, and adapt Jira to match the team's style instead of forcing everyone into a fixed structure. Integrations are solid as well... IT connects smoothly with slick, github, Bitbucket, confluence and even design tools. I personally didn't integrated it with other software but the dev team and managing team had experience and they they have good feedback about it. Getting started was easier than expected, with ready-made project templates and guided setup our team and running quickly. The documentation and community support are impressive. Even when we had questions about workflow or automations, we found answers almost immediately. We used Jira almost daily.... from backlog grooming and sprint planning to tracking bugs and releases. It has basically become the backbone of our project workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel overwhelming at first, I mean the first time I logged in it does feel like that. It took some time to get accustomed. Even our new team members who are not familiar with agile tools. Some advanced configurations also require more time to understand. Performance can slow down a bit with very large projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jira to manage our development and tracking cycles. It keeps our team aligned in real time.
