Very robust for project tracking but lacks some flexibility/customization
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Jira provides a source of truth for the status of project tasks - it makes it easy for me to run my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how jira permissions work. sometimes it's really frustrating to allow other team members to view or edit issues. i wish jira offered features to easily fix permissions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i use jira for tracking the status of tasks in my program and for reporting status to leadership. It benefits me by creating a source of truth for work required that all team members can centrally use.

What do you like best about the product?
Easily adjustable and track individual piece of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to learn for new users and sometimes provide incorrect reports.

It helps to manage the project more efficiently and automate workflow

Design it too old school and some times tasks are taking long time to be updated !

I love that Jira has all the tool's reguired for a project which can be customized as per the project needs.

I have no dislikes about Jira its a all in one tool you need for project management

Jira has solved problems such as task tracking and sprint planning which is critical to the projects sucess and it has n number of methodoligies to choose from as per the teams size and style.
Unlimited Potential, Manageable Complexity
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is second to none when it comes to adaptability to a great variety of different workflows and really extensive features of customization. Strong integrations further facilitate collaboration and automation of tasks, while clear visualization with Kanban and Scrum boards brings transparency to decision-making. Besides, Jira has been designed in such a way that it will scale well with the growth of your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is a steep learning curve unto itself, and its feature set may overwhelm a new user right away. Advanced configurations of most the customizations are really challenging to perform and usually require technical expertise. Also, the costs for using Jira, especially in great teams or enterprises, might be high and therefore be considered as part of the return on investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves one of the main problems: centralizing information for case tracking and work organization. This will help us have one single point of access for all relevant information, smoothing communication and collaboration with teams.

especially for teams following Agile methodologies. It offers robust features for tracking tasks, sprints, and backlogs, and integrates well with other tools like Confluence and Bitbucket.

Jira can be overwhelming for new users due to its complexity and has a steep learning curve, especially with customization and navigation.

Jira helps manage and track tasks, sprints, and projects efficiently, improving team collaboration and ensuring transparency in progress, which boosts productivity and streamlines workflow.
Great platform to track and navigate Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is very easy to use, integrate and implement it as for our use cases and requrements. The Kanbaan board helps in very sophisticated project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support is a bit slow in the tool and based on the ferquency of us using this tool, we need more support from the providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is currently helping me solve the bug tracking problem in my project. we track the progress of the bugs using the dashboard link them to parent user stories and also track the time that is taken for each of this bug and it is really helpful to track the bugs with out missing any single detail.

Little bit different to operate the jira tool

Product owner create the jira task and assign to the particular developer so we don't need to connect personal to understand the jira task and we can see the progress of our task easily
Best PM tool
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Jira is the cross team collaboration and ability to connect with my team that is overseas. It intgrates well with our other tools. Having to use it everyday is easy and convient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't a lot of things I dislike about Jira. Sometimes I cannot unsubscribe from emails for other teams.

Collaboration between teams in different time zones and trakc projects.
