It helps us add relevant information easily and work together as different teams to complete our tasks. I also find the initial setup of Jira very easy and versatile, allowing us to set it up and use it across various teams effortlessly. Overall, the platform's versatility stands out for me.

Centralized Task Management, Needs Better Time Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can manage my full team in one central dashboard and see each team member's scheduled tasks. I also love the work backlog feature, where as a team, we can assess all tasks that arrive in. The centralized dashboard is essential because it can be shared with stakeholders and wider teams so they can fully understand my team's workloads and priorities and make informed decisions about creating new tasks. The backlog makes it easier for my team to review work submitted by stakeholders. Jira is a complex and key tool for our business. It is easy to set up, though there is a lot to learn, but that's not a negative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love if there were some kind of app for desktop iOS that provides a more intuitive way for time tracking on tasks a designer is working on. Currently, when a task is being worked on by a designer, they have to mark the task as 'in progress.' It would be great if this feature could also start a timer that the designer was able to interact with in order to stop and start the timer so that the team can gain valuable insight into how long specific kinds of tasks take to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to manage tasks for my team, track workload, and solve issues like team availability and task management with a centralized dashboard and work backlog feature, making it easier for stakeholders to understand priorities and for my team to review incoming work.

Easy to Use, Great Integrations, and Strong Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
It’s the most flexible and customizable project management tool used by software teams. It’s easy to use and manage, and we can integrate it with 3rd-party apps for automation without much effort. It also makes it easy to track, record, and manage bug issues. There’s a large community and well-maintained documentation, which is especially helpful for new users. On top of that, the workflow and fields can be customized based on our requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI feels very complex for a beginner, and it takes time to figure out where things are. Overall, the app feels heavyweight, which makes it less comfortable to use. Support also hasn’t been very good, and it’s been hard to get helpful assistance when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool for project management and for bug and issue tracking across our organization. We’ve integrated it with our SOAR product to automatically generate issues in JIRA and automatically assign them to the software team.
Intuitive Project Management with Easy Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira is a data-driven project management solution, making it easy to organize work into projects and track issues and tickets. The navigation throughout the different features is very easy, and I find it helpful in fetching dashboards of different individuals easily. The customization and scalability of dashboards are highly valuable, and the strong integration ecosystem makes tasks easier by allowing automatic creation. I also appreciate the 'quick pin access' for recent tasks and apps, making it convenient to access without needing to repeatedly deep dive. Finally, setting up my tickets section and dashboards in Jira was damn easy, and it provided quick suggestions to keep everything flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira works well for so many things, but just to give feedback on what can be improved is, it is tough to navigate all the closed tickets in a year is difficult to find and it does not have a capability to fetch the tickets of last year, it can only show the tickets worked in the current year. The ticket when we search it does not open in a different tab and it overlaps the current opened window of the ticket, which gets annoying to click back every time and reach on the current ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira organizes tasks and projects, solves reporting comprehensively, and automates task creation with strong integration. It's scalable and customizable, making navigation and dashboard creation easy and contributing to efficient project management and easy access to various task views.
Complicated Setup, Glitchy Integration, Unhelpful Support
What do you like best about the product?
The ticketing system was strong when it worked properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many things that need to improve with Jira. The ticketing system didn't always function accurately and had glitches that hurt our business. They started charging us for a subscription we were never using, and when we requested a refund just 2 hours after being charged, they denied it and drag the conversation about it. Their Slack integration is broken and has many syncing issues which they never fix, and it hurt our business. Also, they don't provide agent stats for the ticketing system. The initial setup is complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Jira as a ticketing system on top of Slack for client support, but it often glitches, creating more issues.
