  • December 06, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy communication with engineering so that bugs can be addressed quickly, without confusion or miscommunication between departments. I can easily attach screenshots, screencasts, and files for reference. I use this tool often.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I've never had an issue with Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira allows me, someone with little knowledge of software engineering or coding, to submit tickets for complicated bugs to people who know how to fix them.

Good for cross-functional collaboration

  • December 05, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a marketer, i can easily be looped in to tickets across various teams - Client Success, Engineering, etc - & quickly context gather thanks to the ability to view threads and attachments. This leads to quick and efficient ticket resolution for the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! As a marketing team, we don't use it too much in our day to day as it seems mostly geared to engineering and client-facing roles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A clear direct line from ticket -> engineering -> marketing (if an audit/confirmation on previous messages received by the client is required)

Discussions can be found in a consolidated place (Jira) vs needing to have multiple different Slack threads.

Must-have for IT project management

  • December 04, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is an insanely flexible tool that can help with almost any task in IT (assuming that you understand how to use it).
It is also possible to automate many time-consuming actions—both through its UI and with external integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still old bugs from previous decade. And advanced management (with schemas/workflow) is overcomplicated for the asolute majority of projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives a complete picture of our development process
