Flexible, Powerful Project Management with Jira’s Custom Workflows and Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Jira is its flexibility and ability to manage projects of any size. The customizable workflows, detailed issue tracking, and robust reporting make it easy to keep the team organized and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Jira is that it can feel complex and overwhelming for new users, especially when setting up workflows or managing large projects. Sometimes the interface can be a bit clunky, which slows down quick tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of tracking tasks, managing projects, and coordinating work across teams. It benefits me by providing visibility into project progress, improving collaboration, and helping ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
Extensive Features and Powerful Reporting Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The extensive list of features we have, along with this platform’s reporting capabilities, is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform feels a bit complex for new users, and the UI comes across as more technical than user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us manage overall project management and planning. It’s especially useful for planning our work for the upcoming weeks and for making estimates as well.
erful tool, but needs some learning for non-technical users
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps our team to track tasks, issues and projects progress very clearly, as an executive management assistant, i use jira to follow up on action items from meetings and coordinate with project teams, the boards and ticket view show what is in progress, pending or completed, notification keep me updates on any changes, linking tasks to meeting helps ensures nothing get missed overall, it improves visibility into team work and deadlines. the integration with google space makes action tracking and communication smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
it can feel a bit technical for non development work, especially for new users, some options and workflow are confusing at first, customizing boards, and filter takes time. reporting for non technical tasks is not very intuitive. mobile experience could be better. these issues make a small learning curve for administrative use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it has smart features like automation rules, predictive suggestion and automation triggers, we use automation for recurring task creating and reminders for due dates, predictive suggestions help assign tasks to relevant people quickly, dashboard widgets and charts helps track statuses without manual calculations, these features reduce manual work and improve workflow clarity.
Keeps Every Task on Track for staying organized, but it’s a total beast to manage.
What do you like best about the product?
Using Jira is the most effective method to ensure nothing gets overlooked. Once a task is added to Jira, it remains there until completion. I appreciate being able to see who is assigned to which tasks and identifying any project bottlenecks without needing to reach out to multiple people for updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting it up is honestly quite frustrating. It seems overly complicated for straightforward tasks, and the interface is really awkward to use. On top of that, the constant email notifications are overwhelming, due to this my inbox is filled with Jira alerts now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It prevents tasks from being overlooked. Previously, things discussed in meetings would often be forgotten. Now, there’s a clear record of what needs to be done. This helps me avoid repeating myself multiple times since all the information is available in the ticket.
Flexible, Customizable Jira That Keeps Teams Organized and Aligned
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is great at keeping work organized, especially when multiple people are involved. I like how clearly it breaks down tasks, tickets and progress, so everyone knows what thy are working on and whats coming next. What i like best is the flexibility. You can customize workflows, boards and issue types to match how you team actually works instead of forcing a fixed process. It really helps with planning, tracking progress and staying aligned , especially in fast moving teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can feel overwhelming, especially at the beginning. There are a lot of features, setting and configurations, which makes the learning curve pretty steep for new users. Another thing i dislike is that it can sometimes feel too complex for simple tasks. Creating or updating tickets can take more steps than expected and if workflows aren't set up well, things can get confusing. It is powerful, but it doesn't always feel lightweight or beginner friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of keeping track of work across teams and projects. Instead of tasks, bugs and requests being scattered in spreadsheets, chats or personal to - do lists, everything gets organized in one central place with clear priorities and progress tracking. For me, that means i can easily see what needs to be done, what is in progress and what is blocked without having to chase people for updates. It also helps with planning sprints, assigning tasks, and tracking deadlines, which makes collaborations smoother and reduces misunderstandings. Overall, Jira brings structure and visibility to work that might otherwise feel chaotic.
