    Anwar B.

The best and easiest to use Product Management tool

  • May 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Firstly the way Jira Scrum board is set up to work with Sprints is unmatched. Hence it is so easy to learn and use. Automations would be the second best feature. The way Jira can be automated for workflows and external comms is amazing. Having Confluence and Jira work flawlessly and seamelessly as part of the integration is the other thing I really liked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Jira would try to implement some of the user requested features rather than pointing to third party add ons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helped me manage a huge project with multiple moving parts and different teams and departments. The automations helps me significantly spend less time on follow ups and other admin tasks. The Scrum board functionality helped me not only work in Sprints but also as a first time Agile practictioner easily implement Agile methodology at the workplace.

Focused, Collaborative, rich project management application

  • May 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Jira Board: Hands down, Jira Board is one of the most useful features which I use on a daily basis. The tasks can be divided in focused sprints and I can check the state of each of my tasks along with my colleagues task as well. I can also set up the project flow where I can migrate the status of my task from one state to another and this provides a structured approach to the overall task/issues pipeline.
2. Collaboration: I can collaborate with my colleagues/teammates, where we can collaborate with the help of comments, assignees, mentioning, etc. Relevant people can see their involvement in a particular task and can take relevant actions which allows the entire team to be on the same page and work towards the overall completion of the task.
3. Insights: I can view the insights for the sprint, where I can see an overview of how efficient the current sprint is going on with the help of statistics and figures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think on Jira is that there is a learning curve which might require in order to get acquainted with everything that Jira has to offer. With so many features already available, it is a little overwhelming to get efficient in using Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. I personally use Jira in order to view the state of the issues/features for a particular project. I can set the priority for each of my issues or tasks along with setting the weight for the issues as well where I can give relevant weightage to a particular task with the help of story point estimate. This personally helps the relevant stakeholders as well as team members to know about the complexity of the issue. I can also comment on the issue and make use of the board in order to update the state of the issue as the issue progress each stage of the development cycle.
2. I also make use of the calendar in order to know the progress of the overall project across month and then can minutely follow the same with the help of issues completion achieved, the graphs and other visualization options given further helps to understand the efficiency with which the task was achieved.
3.Mostly, I work on Jira Board where my overall flow is to assign an issue, set the priority and complexity of the issue, update the stage for the issue at each stage, let the relevant stakeholders know about the progress/blockers if any and then finally close the issues on completion.
