One of best software management tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best software management tools where all team members and their work status can be visible. It helps to keep track of your work and helps to show overall progress

in general its amazing, however, sometimes its lagging

Jira is solving major problem which is escalations problems.

we use the Cloud version, and it is sometimes down for maintenance without advance notice.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is headed in the right direction. With a tool like Jira, we can easily track bugs and issues and get them resolved in a shorter amount of time. It is less time-consuming when resolving issues and implementing solutions. I hope Jira continues to implement a lot and helps us in the future as well with its great options and implementations.

Jira is a tool that no one can ever dislike; it helps us solve the problems and issues at work that we dislike.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the feature of planning and scheduling tasks and also tracking progess and reporting on results in Jira. Also, the best part is we can be organised and on track always.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever I want to create a sub task in jira for example you go and you have a tutorial for creating a sub task, but neither of your teams cannot see it on their boards and you cannot use it, so it becomes useless. Also, I don't like the Jira community where respose to any queries is either late or ignored.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem in Jira is import issues from csv with security group, when I have 500 issues and also the reports. This is irrational that I cannot add these dropdown fields to import, but all others I can add. Also, the reports are not stakeholder friendly. I always searched for a plugin that could pull the data and format it. It would be great if they add better reporting formats that are configurable.

What do you like best about the product?
It is an overall solution for managing the project. We don't need excel or other documents to manage our work. It can handle multiple project and the communication with each other which can be handle during working on project.

Some of the cons that i think that jira is made only for the developers.

Jira's functionality for creating a custom workflow for a specific process is the best, along with the reporting tool which gives an indepth insights of a particular task and multiple intergration options

Setting up and configuring jira is initially a headache and with so much of features time required to learn is often high

Jira is solving my problem of managing and keeping a track of multiple tasks assigned to me and having setup the custom workflow it keeps the team members also in the loop saving our time
