How practical Jira is
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is one of my favourite tools for workflow management, it provides good visualization of pending tasks, tasks in progress and tasks concluded, as well as resources to classify and manage them on an easy way
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of its features are a bit complex to use for non-agile team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira provides a clear view of the team workflow, helping us manage and deal with issues that may come when performing the activities, as well as estimate execution time, complexity, and other characteristics of the tasks.
Issue tracker and scrum tool
What do you like best about the product?
Is very powerful on managing the entire scrum workflow. I like the possibility to link stories/issues to other tools like confluence and bitbucket and also add attachments (images/files).
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface sometimes does not work very well... for example, not always the changes are applied after we set them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets to keep track of everything in a single place, and this is a very good thing!
Furthermore it is pretty well integrated in bitbucket so that basic git commands are automatically available from Jira itself like for example creating a branch or open a PR.
My team is using Jira every day and we probably can't do without it.

Communicating Work Status/Updates with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
Very effective tool in allocating work load to team members. It is also very easy to use since all the elements of reporting are already present.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything I do not like about Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a tool in resolving all potential and existing issues. It is beneficial to me because we can easily track the progression of submitted tickets with ease.
Bloated, needlessly complicated
What do you like best about the product?
- smart ticket numbers, e.g., linking to tickets from the wiki.
- keyword search, searches the descriptions allowing users to create reports more easily.
- keyword search, searches the descriptions allowing users to create reports more easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
-made for devs, the interface wasn't designed for the design user. IOW, it plainly ignores the needs of the UX design teams workflow. Forcing design teams to abstract familiar and productive workflows to obtuse and unituitive workflows that waste the design teams time.
-image search is limited, necessitating the marketplace in order to access wider search parameters.
-attachment history
-can't see the forest for the trees. The workspace view is highly detailed and narrow. Seeing the broad view of a project is unituitive and too complicated to grasp. This leads to generating duplicate issues and making it time consuming to find issues.
- using the product while working is inefficient. e.g., trying to use jira features while working can be obstuse. E.g., users doing work in graphic design applications that draw most of a systems resources, forces the worker to shut down most unnecessary applications, such as browsers. this forces the user to reopen jira between work sessions. The steps to do this have a high time and productivity cost.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creates a single place where all team members can see the work being done.
Easy organization between projects
What do you like best about the product?
Jira offers a lot of different methods to organizing and managing projects. I like like the analytics features - it allows for easy analysis of tickets and project boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming. There are a lot of features, and sometimes it can be too much, especially when onboarding someone new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me with project management. I am able to create tickets to track projects and assign them accordingly.
Most powerful tool to manage your projects
What do you like best about the product?
Jira provides many options to keep projects, development teams and product owners / business on the same side by creating amazing dev boards and workflows. Integration with Slack and other 3rd party tools do good job to be in touch with all tickets progress and collecting information from teams like customer support team, design team etc. Each team member can find his own way to work with Jira by customizing UI and board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime UI is laggy and need to check twice that action was done in the right way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task tracking, bugs tracking, resources load balancing, advanced roadmaps help business to understand where we are and what we re doing.

What do you like best about the product?
Good ticketing system to keep track of progress of different projects
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not reportable and the UI isn't always helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jirs helps us create a repository for requests coming in from all over the business, and organizes them in one place to help us pioritize the most urgent ones.
Jira is a de-facto standard in my industry
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is actually more than just a bug tracker, it's an infrastructure. You can build your own plugins, deploy 3rd party plugins, customize everything for your needs. On the other hand, you can use JIRA as a checklist, using the very simple workflow. Last, but not least: JIRA integrates with other software such as Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it's not modern. It's a old software, and UI could be more responsive. Third party extensions sometimes are very slow. There's no standards in 3rd party extensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, JIRA solves two kinds of problems:
1) I can keep track of bugs in the software, fix them or re-assign to another team members
2) It can give a brief overview what other colleagues are doing and if we are close to reaching the sprint goals.
