What do you like best about the product?
I primarily used Jira to open and track cases for issues encountered while using SharePoint. The platform makes it easy to report problems, assign them to the right teams and monitor their progress. I found it very helpful in keeping everything organized and ensuring that issues were resolved efficiently. While the interface can feel a bit complex at first, the overall functionality is robust and reliable. Jira is a practical tool for managing technical support cases and improving team collaboration. I liked the promptitude of solving my requests in solving issues. Also, the initial setup of Jira was very easy.

Jira Review by Prathamesh Sakre

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
exceptional customizability in creating workflows, robust support for Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and deep integrations with development tools like Bitbucket and GitHub
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is often over-engineered, featuring far too many fields, confusing workflows, and bloated configurations that hinder, rather than help, productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the primary problems of manual, disconnected, and non-transparent workflows by providing a centralized, automated platform for managing tasks. For an Accounts Receivable (AR) professional, this translates into faster invoicing, fewer missed payments, better data accuracy, and smoother communication with other departments

Jira: The Best Task Management Tool for Tracking and Updates

  • March 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its best task management tool. Its very usefull to track and give update on task
What do you dislike about the product?
In Jira sometime feels very complicated to new user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Problems Jira Solves
Information Silos: Without a tool like Jira, project details are buried in emails, Slack DMs, and "that one guy's" head. Jira centralizes everything.

The "Who's Doing What?" Fog: It eliminates the ambiguity of ownership. Every task (Issue) has an Assignee and a Status.

Scope Creep: By using Backlogs and Sprints, Jira prevents teams from getting distracted by "shiny new ideas" before finishing the work they already committed to.

Lack of Historical Context: Ever wonder why a specific bug was fixed a certain way three years ago? Jira provides an audit trail of every comment, attachment, and code commit related to that task.
