Helpful tool for project management, ITSM, and knowledge retention
What do you like best about the product?
That it has strong project management capabilities.
Including the ready made templates in Confluence for project outlines and the effective tracking provided by Kanban boards.

What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity with configuring SSO for our multiple domains.
We had several Jira tenancies and were unable to connect them to SSO as it would prevent the other.
This could be a planning and configuration trouble on our side.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transitioning from ServiceNow to Jira for IT Service Management (ITSM) has been a notable improvement for us. We are finding Jira much more user-friendly, with its intuitive navigation, robust knowledge base capabilities, and the added benefit of a Kanban board for efficient tracking. This transition has made managing IT services smoother and more streamlined.
Nothing easier than jira!
What do you like best about the product?
For ALM needs, this tool does it all, if u have access to the necessary modules. And so easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across something yet that has bothered me.

Our project management has improved tremendously...nothing that i dislike towards it!!

JIRA the best for CI/CD!!!
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is the when it comes to agile development. With JIRAs scrum as welll as kanban board oneee can create, track and prioritize tickets/tasks. We can even integrate it with bitbuckeet and lin repositories to push and pull codes with CI/CD.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA completes all my requirements mor than efficiently making it to have nothing to dislike about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization uses JIRA with integration to bitbucket. Our team head creates tickets assigns them and keeps a track where is progress in an agile enviroment.
Great way to organise and plan projects
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to the numerous capabilities that Jira offers to assist me in keeping projects planned and structured, i have complete visibility of project work during the entire period we have been using it. Because of how well it integrates with our other products, we were able to successfully adopt it without needing to alter the ecosystem of our other products. Whenever we have a project, we typically use Jira to manage it efficiently and effectively so that we can complete it within the allocated budgetary constraints.
What do you dislike about the product?
so far everything is working smoothly> Nothing to complain about here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboard and shared workspace feature is really helpful in maintaining cooperation on projects. It facilitates work planning and organization as well as the visualization of all the procedures and actions we do to administer the project.
A Solid Project Management tool for Software Development Companies

It's a highly adopted tool in the industry and usually, the learning curve is not too steep

It's not cheap! Plus I wish collective dashboards or roadmaps for multiple projects could be easier

It is the hub of knowledge for our development team and also works with service management

With Jira you can systematize all your work, divided into tasks. You can work independently, within or across departments. Regardless of what department you work in, Jira definitely makes your everyday work easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation and adaptation process is quite long, as is the process of learning the program itself. This is due, among other things, to great flexibility and the possibility of personalization

What do you like best about the product?
Jira software is a very useful and handy software for all the software developers. Using this tool we can easily keep a track of our progress as well as the current status of an application.
All the user requirements and the needs are saved in the jira which can be monitored by the software developers. This whole software comes in handy while developing a new or maintaining an existing application.
It acts as a tracker of an application which can is editable by both the user and the developers.

The comments are non-deletable, which might create a confusion for future reference.
Sometimes it causes delay in displaying updated information and a stable internet connection is required for using the jira software.

Jira software keeps the track of any development project irrespective of the business model used by the company.
It helps to understand the user requirements and keeps me updated of any additional requirements.
Starting from development till production the whole process is kept under track so that if any problem arises it can be redirected immidiately to the necessary team responsible for handling it.
