Great for project management, task management, and sprint planning
What do you like best about the product?
Super useful for sprint planning. Customizable ways to view, organize and interact with tasks.

Can be a bit of a learning curve because there are so many options and complexities when first using Jira

Allows my team to organize tasks for our 2 week sprint, including prioritization, assigning team members, and grouping into epics

While Jira is powerful, its complexity can sometimes be overwhelming for new users. Customization options might also lead to complexity if not managed carefully.

Jira solves several problems efficiently, such as task management, issue tracking, and project planning. Its benefit lies in streamlining team collaboration, enhancing organization, and providing clear visibility into project progress. Personally, it's helped me manage tasks better, improve team coordination, and maintain a clearer overview of ongoing projects.

jira is a popular project management and issue tracking tool and this is developed by Atlassian. It is mainly used by software development teams like DevOps and can be used for various types of projects and teams.Many users likes Jira's high level of customization, and there are so many features and useful things developed and upgrading product. like issue of tracking,agile support, integration capabilities and reporting and dashboards etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally think one is cost and user interface and performamce issues

Jira is mainly designed to help teams tracking and managing issues, tasks, and work items in entire lifecycle.

its integreation with existing Atlassian software tools like Confluence, OpsGenie etc
Its saved filters, and JQL(Jira Query Language) to find the issues faster and creating the dashboard and visualization based on them
Its powerful analytics and rich text editor to put everything in the comment from code to images to table, empower to really collaborate in async manner.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its search bar doesn't give the relavant search results and we need to create multiple saved filters and use various JQL to find and save the result for future use.
They could use the generative AI better to suggest and improve the writing
Their editor is better but user search when tagging in the comment can be improved further

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product management and enabling the teams to work async manner which is now crtical conserding most of the teams are working remotely and hybrid now a days.
Keeping track of projects is made easy by Jira.
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has attracted a lot of liking within our organization and this has been by how easy it is to use where anyone can access it. We really appreciate the professional support services that we receive when getting started and this made our implementation process so smooth. For all the time we have been using Jira, we get total visibility to our project works thanks to the loads of features available which help us to keep our projects planned and organized. It really works well with our other products and this allowed us to successfuly implement it without having to change our products ecosystem. Everytime we have a project, we usually use Jira to allows us to run the project smoothly and effectively so as we can finish it within the budgeted timelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira has been so efficient to us and for all the years we have been having it, it has never given us any troubles or reasons to question its capabilities in helping us track our projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira gives us a shared workspace and dashboard where we get to work together and collaborate on our projects. It helps us to organize and plan our work and visualize all the processes and steps we take during the project administration. Through this, we get to understand our projects performance and progress which translates to us getting our work done in the timeframe available to us.

Another important feature is that we can start using JIRA and make sure that it covers all our needs before acquiring the use licenses, and that is an important reason for many companies to start using it and then acquire the licensing that best suits them.
Additionally, JIRA has various templates to facilitate the initial parameterization based on our usage characteristics and execution methodology, so starting to use it is very simple, and the customization of roles and permissions is quite flexible.

JIRA has allowed us to assign tasks to team members, do continuous monitoring, keep everyone informed, generate progress reports, and calculate the effort required to finish the project within the times established in the planning.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use considering it is a management tool. Even notifications are incorporated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is any. I am very pleased with the features of this app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team and I are able to address issues and complete tasks with ease, without the need of manually reminding one another of the tasks that need to be completed. We can attach pictures, videos, add checklists and tag anyone. Then, you can also move the status of the ticket accordingly.
