Best tool for Project Management/Project Manager

You can customize how you can set up your own board.

Can be complex some times (depending on how you set it up)

Since my role is more on Project Management, Jira is basically helping us to organize the task are going to do on a specific sprint.

One of the best aspects of Jira is its flexibility and adaptability to manage various types of projects and workflows efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity of setting up and configuring Jira for specific project requirements can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is solving project management and issue tracking challenges, streamlining collaboration, and improving team efficiency. It benefits us by providing a centralized platform for task management, transparency in project progress, and better coordination among team members.
A tool that can help you to have your concern resolve.
What do you like best about the product?
It's east to raise a tciket using Jira and the updat is faster than the other ticketing system. I can also raise a ticket even though I still have some pending, I am receiving a lot of updates when they are resolving my concerns and it helps me to work effectively. It's also easy to request an access for the new tool that I'll going to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far, the customer service or the people is fast in accomodating my tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps me by assisting my concerns in some tool and having some access to the platform that I need to use.

What do you like best about the product?
After having tried various project management and activity tracking platforms, I have been able to verify that Jira is one of the best and most dynamic, mainly when we must manage tasks that use both agile projects as well as those that are traditionally organized with the methodology in waterfall.
The way to interact with Jira is very simple, which means that we can incorporate new collaborators into the project without having to carry out a formal training process. The functionalities allow us to have a very useful collaborative work environment and manage roles and permissions in the best way.
Jira allows us to customize each environment to focus on the activities that interest us most and offers the project manager a global screen of the execution, which makes it easier to follow the critical path and ensure that the times are the most convenient for execution of the project.

Jira offers many functionalities 'on cloud', and its way of working is very simple, so it is difficult to mention, from a practical point of view, any possible disadvantages.
Actually, the people who have interacted with Jira in our organization consider it very practical and makes it easier for small work environments to interact, fully test and generate opinions of use before the formalization of Jira throughout the company.
Jira may not have many functionalities for budget and financial execution, so for these particular cases in which we must execute projects from a financial point of view, there are other more specialized applications.

With Jira we have been able to track the activities under the concept of waterfall methodology but at the same time it is possible to visualize the activities on agile boards such as kanban, which facilitates the flow when updating the activities and knowing perfectly the steps that are missing for the execution of an activity that represents a critical path.
Jira allows us to integrate with different applications, considering the most popular tools today as well as the most specific ones, but the most important thing is that all the configuration parameters are simple and if we want to start a project, we have templates that adapt to the type of project that we are going to manage.
We have coordinated projects that involve tracking activities and it is easy to have visibility of deadlines, overdue activities and much more.

2. Reprorting tools are very useful..I used some of them like sprint chart, velocity report etc.

1. Learning curve: We need proper training to use the JIRA to get all the benefits of it.Which can be tim consuming

At the end of sprint we get perfect summary report which can not be possible using excel sheet or any other tool..

Managing tasks between teams and keeping track of time is incredible.

The comments section on the Jira tickets.
If a project is a months-long project, the organization of the comments related to the ticket is very hard to find, filter, or read. Especially when you have multiple teammates commenting on the project.

We manage multiple product projects simultaneously with various departments and numerous teammates.
We keep track of all the projects, the due dates, who is assigned to them, and the amount of time we spend on each project.
Helps with planification, problem-solving solving, and pricing! We know how much to charge our clients depending on how long it takes us to solve the problem.

Set up daily tasks, Time Management, Project Management and Customer Support.

It's complicated, enables micromanagement, Bad UI, Slow, Way too many features, and it has glitches.

I helps bug tracking, task management, and communication with the different teams. I can also write SLA's and keep track of the software development.
