Best for both Software and Business Management

  • March 03, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is fully customizable, has several integrations. It has customizable workflows, seamless collaboration capabilities. Its user-friendly interface simplifies task tracking, issue management, and agile development processes, helps me to efficiently plan, track, and deliver projects. And the cost is also reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not suitable for medium sized teams because of the cost. It is free for up to 10 users in a team, but if there's like 13 members in a team, you have to pay for each member. So it is suitable only if you are a small team or a corporate.
Also sometimes there are crashes when having lots of automation rules, but that's not something critical. What I also don't like is that there are several different versions of the software and it is sometimes hard to find a solution or a tutorial for specific things as in your version it may not work as described.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for sprint planning and also we have a business management space. Which means we use it in both IT team (Software) and Operations team (Work management). In both teams we customized the spaces to fully suit our needs and help us in workflow. All plannings, all customers and orders are handled there and with automations, Microsoft integrations we fully automated our work.

Excellent team work management

  • March 02, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira Software is very straightforward to use and in my experience works best on small teams (under 10 people). It has a very extensive plug-in ecosystem to adapt to work log reports and Gantt charts other than its agile nature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it has many advanced festures, once you start onboarding the plan over 10 users, Jira will bill you retroactively for the 10 people, so it pushes you back if you are on a tight budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage projects and people tasks. Help plan programs.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of jira is easy to use and can have record of all the past issue, bug, sprint and who has worked on that and have the progress report.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing which makes me feel unhappy with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The team work is better with this every one is serious for there ticket. And we can have proper record how much time has been spent on single task.
Delivery of the product or acheving the timeline is easy with jira and we have all track of issues.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and implement for a product manager, whether it is getting the entire team aligned with the tasks in hand or working with multiple boards. I also integrated it with slack so it can keep the entire team on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. SO far the usage has been quite smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps the entire team aligned with the task board and it reduces my effort to communicate with everyone.

Right now it is hard to find thing i don't like in Jira. Every time I'm missing something in Jira, it is already there.

Great tool to document and keep track of your product/project

  • February 27, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How to link issues, projects, documents, everything can be connected to have a molecular view, but also a big picture.
Also, you can keep track of progress, if you implement a nice tag system and issues relationship, you will be able to see progress and individual performance.
Also, Jira can be integrated with multiple systems, making it a good fit for the tools you already use, making easy to stay in one place to control everything
What do you dislike about the product?
Subtask creation (and fulfillment) is not so fluent from a parent issue, you need to click a lot and go to other sections to add relevant information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as a Product Manager, so Jira is where I keep my backlog and prioritize it. Also, it is where I document the user needs, acceptance criteria, epics scope, bugs, basically everything and the team uses it to move forward with the development process.

What do you dislike about the product?
Quite difficult to setup the first project and the structure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running a Scrum team and tracking all users requests

Efficiency Redefined: Revolutionizing Project Management

  • February 26, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The unparallel experience of project management is one phrase I can use to explain JIRA. The best things I can think of is the ability to create multiple boards which can be used by multiple teams within the organization itself. Another commentable feature is the ability to link multiples issues with another issue on the board and the ability to link/intergrate the same with external softwares. This has helped in getting approvals from other teams whichever/wherever necessary. The robus interface and easy to understand UI can help anyone get familiar with JIRA and the usecases fast.

Introducing/implement JIRA was a piece of cake as any new employee/user can simply sign up and set up the account instantly. There was no delay, no longer process which makes this anyones's go to tool.

This is a tool that our entire organization uses on a daily basis. I use this everyday to keep track of the projects i'm working on, keep track of the progress and understand where the blocker is. This also gives anyone in the organization the visibility to understand the key changes that are occurring to even the slightest change that is happening as everything can be logged and made use later.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of the features or diving deep into multiple features can get you lost sometime(Also, if you are a newbie, it may need some time to get used with the multiple functionalities of the tool). But once you master it, it becomes a piece of cake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The key thing that Jira is helping is tracking/logging of the multiple issues that are running across teams. This gives the visibility from a slightest change that is happening in the product to an organization level change as well. This is used as part of a change management process to let everyone know what is happening and who is owning.

'More like the Godzilla of Project Management!'

  • February 25, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Every Tech-savvy Professional likes it. It's all-powerful, uniquely loaded with monstrous project management capabilities. It can superbly track issues, tasks, costs and more. Is technically equipped to help you get across the line. Godzilla like!
What do you dislike about the product?
The one limitation that bothers me is that it can't assign tasks to many assignees. Its also overwhelming and somehow intimidating to technically inferior users. Otherwise its still the one for tech-savvy peeps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It identifies potential bottlenecks, improvement opportunities, tracks bugs and issues, time and reports. Helping us manage products delivery superbly.

Optimizing Project Management Processes

  • February 24, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA helps teams manage projects well by allowing them to carefully plan, keep track of progress, and complete tasks efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and configuration process can be complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA lets us create tickets, give them to team members, and see how things are going. This helps everyone know what's happening with each task, making sure everyone is responsible and things are clear from start to finish.
