Jira Keeps Our Tasks Tracked and Team Workflow Running Smoothly
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps me keep my tasks properly tracked and manage tickets and other work items. It also helps me design a clear workflow, like understanding the current status of my task and how much time it takes to complete. Since my team is connected in Jira, we can work together smoothly, and my manager can easily assign any task to me. It also helps the client keep proper track of the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, when there are too many tickets and everything feels overloaded, it becomes difficult for me to manage my tasks. I get confused about which ticket is the current one, and tracking tickets date-wise also seems complicated to me. Also, having different workflows for different projects is frustrating sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Jira, managing tasks becomes much more frustrating. For every small task, we end up having to call, chat, send emails, and so on. Scheduling a meeting every time also becomes frustrating, because we spend more time on emails, chats, and calls than on the actual work. With Jira, it helps us track status, keeps everything in a single flow, and makes it much easier to handle.
Effective Task Management with Room for UI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira gives us a tool that does what we need it to do, which is tracking various tasks, sprints, and stories. It's pretty clean, clear, and crisp, and doesn't seem to have a lot of bugs. We use it to create new tasks, manage tasks, our sprints, and story pointing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is pretty messy, and it seems like a lot of different features are buried and hard to find. So I think the UI and UX could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps with task management, allowing us to create and manage tasks, sprints, and points. It’s clean, clear, and not buggy, supporting our software development issue tracking smoothly.
Clear Task Management with Easy Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the clear visibility in Jira, which helps me manage tasks efficiently by providing opportunities to create tasks with terms and backlog. It's easier to manage the teamwork with these features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe some AA connections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to manage unclear tasks and handle team management, making teamwork easier.
Streamlined Project Governance with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Jira for easy and effective project tracking. It makes collaboration easier and helps streamline project governance. The structured workflows in Jira improve collaboration by making it clear who owns the sub-tasks at each stage and identifying roadblocks, which helps me plan better. The initial setup of Jira was not complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally feel we can get suggestions from other similar projects as well through Jira to check what has been done better than our project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps with effective ownership, timely tracking, and easy project management. It enhances collaboration with structured workflows and streamlines project governance, allowing me to understand who owns tasks and identify roadblocks.
Smooth project tracking with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
In our sprint workflow, Jira is used to track user stories, bugs, and tasks. For example, when working on an API in MuleSoft, I pick up a Jira ticket, move it to “In Progress,” and update it with implementation details or blockers. During daily standups, we refer to Jira boards to discuss progress. I also use comments to share API endpoints, logs, or test results, so everything stays documented in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes tickets have many mandatory fields, which slows down updates. Also, navigating between multiple linked tickets (story, sub-task, bug) can take extra time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, task tracking was done over emails or chats, which made it hard to trace updates. Now, Jira provides a structured way to track development work, sprint progress, and issue resolution. It improves visibility for both developers and stakeholders.
Enhances Project Clarity, Needs Better Time Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like the different statuses that we can add in Jira and being able to manage the whole project cleanly with a single view is very useful. I also find it really handy that I can easily integrate Jira with other products like Slack and Google Drive. It's great that anything mentioned can be tagged and I can get notifications around that on Slack, which is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Kanban view could be improved. Products like Trello or ClickUp have more features around time-based logging, which allow tagging the time spent on a feature. Logging actual hours could be a good feature for teams working on a timely project basis to understand how much time they are spending versus the story points given.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the complexity of getting clear visibility into our pipeline, managing sprints and stakeholders seamlessly. It helps us track progress and timelines, attach documents, and comment on tasks, ensuring easy recall of project history.
Unmatched Trackability and Seamless Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the trackability and ease of use that Jira offers. The basic functions are perfected, making it very effective for us. I find it unrivaled, especially the real-time timeline for every project and ticket, which keeps our organization always aligned. The initial setup was seamless, and it perfectly suits our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to track tickets efficiently, solving the issue of time wasted checking request statuses. Its real-time timeline and ease of use keep our organization aligned.
Decent Tool with Integration Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jira is simple for ticketing tasks. I also appreciate how it works well for managing projects, especially in creating teams and assigning parts of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is not so easy to use, and I find connecting it with other software challenging. The interface and features could be more modern. I also think there should be more integrations available. The initial setup was difficult as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for ticketing, creating teams, and assigning project parts. It helps keep projects organized even though setting it up is difficult.
Jira Excels at Agile Planning, Reporting, and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Jira for the past four years, after working with other project management tools for 6 years , Jira is hands‑down the superior tool when it comes to project planning and work tracking. It provides excellent visibility into progress, supports strong Agile workflows, and offers powerful built‑in reporting features such as burndown charts, feature tracking, and cycle time tracking right out of the box.
The automation capabilities are impressive and have helped remove a lot of manual work from our processes. With the introduction of AI features like Rovo AI chat and stand‑up mode, Jira continues to evolve. You no longer need to remember JQL syntax for advanced queries, Rovo lets you ask questions in plain English and retrieves exactly what you need. These AI enhancements genuinely improve productivity by automating repetitive tasks and speeding up information retrieval.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback is the UI. While Jira offers modern features, the interface often feels unintuitive and outdated compared to some more streamlined tools on the market. The layout can be cluttered, and navigating between boards, issues, and settings sometimes feels more complex than necessary. A more polished and user‑friendly UI would greatly improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira makes our project and workflow management significantly easier. It helps us with:
Sprint and project planning
Cycle time tracking and performance insights
Burndown charts for sprint health
Visibility into blocked or delayed work
Clear status updates on what’s in progress, completed, or stuck
Improved team alignment through shared boards and dashboards
Automation of repetitive tasks, reducing manual overhead.
