An apt tool for tech issue resolution in a widespread organization

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about JIRA is the basic concept of it that all the same issues can come under one ticket and be resolved all at once which helps saving time and effort from both the sides of the ticket.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA has very open comments. For a tool with so much usage and purposem there should be defined convention for adding you issue to the same ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use multiple softwares for various tasks and it is natural to face bugs and errors when doing so. JIRA helps bring all these issues to one platform and resolves them leading to a huge saving on time and effort by the tech team as well as the team facing the issue.
There often are time-sensitive tasks or high profile tasks that face bugs. We are easily able to communicate the priority.

Jira for ticket management

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of options for integration. We have a Stack overflow page which we can link to our cases for reference, and it also allows for direct updates to Stack overflow with new issues and resolutions. With Jira you can set up Dashboards and have an overview of types of tickets and time to resolution. There are also options to have engineering or special services cases generated allowing you to separate the technical attendance to various levels of complexity and assign to the proper teams. This makes it possible to review different response times and track fixes and bugs.The interface allows direct communication between teams and end customers and has an effective mail trail.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is sometimes rigid, and it takes a bit of work to prevent spam from being picked up as a case. The other issue is that when you receive mails that the unnecessary images get uploaded to the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a good ticket and case management system and can keep track of bug fixes and release management. Also address inter team co-ordination and communication allowing for easy management of meetings and co-ordination of testing of bugs and fixes. With the intergration it also allows for a single point of access to documentation and review resources such as Stack overflow. There is good reporting on cases and case loads and how quickly issues are resolved allowing for better management and stratergies.

Creating exemplary Project Workflows with JIRA Core!

What do you like best about the product?
Experientially, JIRA is an extension to the ever growing need of running efficient Projects, that align superb delivery for the team and the enterprise at large. In an effort to divulge into its key profeciencies, we found that it has been able to create workflows out of challenging project plans, where multiple stekholders were invovled from various facets of the organization. It allowed our project teams to tailor workflors to the ever growing processes, where various units had their input that impacted end project delivery.

Furthermore, allowing inclusion in the platform for collabortive input from other team members, into a unified platform experience, created an ease of use to park assignments to other teams, tag them for TATs and mark their scope which was critical to remain transparent, especially considering the financial nature of various projects. This coupled with its integration capabilities with our core-systems allowed seamless execution of workflows, due to the ease of its implmentation in the existing system infrastructure.

In order to sum it up, the best part was its diverse and extensive reporting engine, that allowed identification of project gaps along with a meaningful set of insights that provided learnings for the Business and Techinical teams to establish process improvements for future executions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Possibly a lack of in-app / service tutorial view is a weakness that we could improve upon, whereby the application could allow in-app recording of actions to share with other users to train / teach them of running and operating workflows, to improve its frequency of use in the organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA Core was able to remove the flawed approach of running projects via basic 'MS Projects' or alternatives, which would otherwise be channeled by project managers via email communications and in-person sessions. JIRA's seamlines integrations and interconnectivity allowed various business, cross-functional and project owners + managers to collaborate live to acertain and finalize workflows, drive deliverables and execute actions to end point delivery.

There is also no direct call support only tickets can be raised which are delayed.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a technology that is involved in each of the steps we have to follow, being itself a fundamental tool to visualize the objectives of the company and, in this way, go in the direction of achieving them, supported by a planning that fits the needs we have, and that helps us to always get what we want. Jira offers a very fast administration of the company's procedures because it makes the perfect link with the automation of forms, which allows us to speed up the marketing work, increase our profits and, therefore, increase the volume of work. It is a production chain that remains unchanged with only a reduced aspect, however, it is not only this, Jira offers us the fundamental tools to generate tasks and walk the different steps of the project and, in addition, to make a detailed and complete control of the totality of what is being done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had difficulties in the common areas of form automations, I have tried to get the support team to help me to solve it, however, the solutions they have given me have been very small compared to the need we have to address. Although it has a full screen, the customization is quite complicated, changing the configurations according to our needs and uses is not as simple as we expected. Finally, in general terms Jira is not as easy to use as we expected, it takes a while to learn how to use each of the features when it starts, however, due to the documentation, it is possible to go through a faster learning stage. It requires a higher bandwidth, because when the internet is slow it becomes slower, this affects the performance of our work and the tasks we perform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Owning Jira on a daily basis has been one of the best benefits we have achieved. Since using Jira, our work has become smaller, and not precisely because we have reduced the amount of work, but because Jira has given us more control over the different parts of it and has also given us more details that we didn't give importance to before. Without a doubt, we have increased our revenue because of the increased planning that goes into our work, we evaluate our clients' feedback, we provide a superior product, and we take care of every step of the project, making sure it runs smoothly. Jira provides us with the opportunity to always be present, to be sure that, as a group and in collaboration with clients, we can achieve our daily work objectives and please our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
It is great tool to track the progress of the tasks that is targetted to achieve in the given span of time. Will be able to create tasks sprint wise , able to go through the backlogs and get the status of the tasks person by person. It manages to generate reports and track releases for mobile apps and websites. Could easily track the bugs reported by the team, lot of filters is there to track it even if we there is need to find the older bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the first time user, it has overwhelming features. Which consumes little more time than expected to explore all features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes the integration with various automation tools easier , and create bugs directly on jira if the testcases fails.
It helps in tracking the bugs based on the releases , has plenty of filters to find out older bugs.
Moving the tasks between the sprints or to the backlog is faster.

What do you like best about the product?
As a regular user of Jira, I find the live collaboration capabilities to be one of its most important features. When actively involved in projects, the real-time information delivery and collaboration capabilities of the platform have changed the way our group communicates. The ability to see progress and changes to the same project instantly gives you the ability to make decisions quickly. I find the integration features of the Jira system to be extremely useful. As someone who uses the app on a daily basis, I can easily link it with different authoring tools, which has significantly reduced the amount of work we have to do. This not only saves me time by reducing the need to enter data by hand, but also ensures a more consistent and unified experience. I found the Scrum and Kanban cards to be most helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are new to using project management tools, this program may seem complicated at first. It has many peculiarities and features that can be powerful, however, it takes dedication and training to use them correctly. This can diminish your initial ability to work. The ability to change this surface is very strong and it is possible to meet several complicated needs. Despite this, some individuals find them overwhelming or utilizing them excessively time consuming. Careful balance and knowledge is required to plan the system correctly. Realizing the balance between transformation and simplicity can be a complicated task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using Jira software to manage projects in our company and it changed the rules of the game. The quality of its features, including workflow customization, agile dashboards and integration with other tools, has made our development procedures much smoother. We can use it in order to carry out different tasks, this supports us to collaborate more and perform more efficiently.
