Huge software with multiple features
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is awesome on Jira. Also it has different project types for all type work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex workflow, field and management setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to track bugs , tasks, sprints in an organisation. Also it has multiple apps with great integration
An extremely powerful and flexible platform for advanced project management.
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has an easy-to-use interface, which makes it easier for me and my team to monitor the defects and effectively manage our tasks. Jira’s extensive sprints and Kanban board features have been instrumental in implementing a shift left strategy. The work log function is really useful, because it allows tracking time on each task and its sub-tasks. Moreover, in the case of the projects conducted by using the SAFE methodology, Jira is also accompanied.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Jira’s documentation is not at the level one would desire, thus creating some little confusions. In addition, the conversation and Chat History should be rectified as I have faced problems of finding specific references due to the mess of name calling and tagging of such mentions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our visibility is maintained clear with the aid of Jira for our development process, a very own helpful tool as mobile app developer. It makes sure that our team has a well-developed channel to segment and order their tasks.
Decent Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to filter by person, project. Custome fields, the ability to change color of the story when deadline is approaching
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a huge backlog and it's hard to find different projects and epics in the backlog. Would be nice to show backlog in different folders/sections

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, highly customizable , lightweight, loads of plugins to make life even easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
expensive for personal usage, creation of custom templates is a bit trickier that it seems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To start with product management , it gives a platform to have all the requirement in one place and not just that, it can integrate with confluence seamlessly to make it more easier to follow the requirements and work accordingly . Requirement can then be used to be linked with the workflow items (epics,features,stories) making the entire team involved and aware of the business view and the need of the market. This enhances the clarity among the developers , testers, DevOps, technical writers etc. It plays an important role as a source of truth between the stakeholders, product owner and project managers. We can create plans and roadmap for better transperancy and visibility, dashboard for the live status of development, and testing. It is a champion in implementing Agile. Wether the teams are following Scrum or Kanban, it helps a lot in product management .
It provides a lot of plugins that can be used by the user based on the variety of requirements . For an example, it easily integrates with Confluence thus helping in documentation.
For test managment, the project does not even need to be in Agile mode. An old project which fllows waterfall or is in transition towards Agile can use Jira for test management and get rid of those bulky endless excel sheets and documentations.
At this point of time it is hard to find a solution like Jira for product and test management .

Simplifying Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a comprehensive view of projects and tasks. As an experienced user of this tool, I have found that Jira greatly simplifies project management by providing a centralized environment where tasks can be efficiently tracked, assigned and prioritized. The ease with which I can create custom dashboards, track progress and assign responsibilities has revolutionized the way we approach projects in my team. In addition, its integration with other tools, such as Confluence and Trello, further enhances collaboration and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is overwhelming and complicated to understand. Initial setup of projects and workflows can be challenging, and some of the advanced features require time and effort to master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can track the progress of each task in detail, assign responsibilities effectively and make data-driven decisions in real time. This has led to greater transparency in the team, which has improved communication and collaboration.
Tons of capability, but not great for hardware dev.

Easy to tag in folksd on the team to get answers qucik and keep organized on workloads per team member.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to look through sometimes a lot of info displayed in a small space can be difficult, also old pictures and videos aren't easily differentiated from newer adds.

It keeps bugs organized and allows for ease of assigning and pinging folks to gt updates.

JIRA helps with agile methodology and delivery
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA helps us bring in best practices of agile delivery and focus on task breakdown and tracking. It integrates well with other products like confluence, bitbucket. Project team members find it easy to collaborate on JIRA to track task progress and provide updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is any negative comment about JIRA.
