Managing tall orders fearlessly

What do you like best about the product?
It lets us categorize tasks with type, like Bug, Feature, Story and that from its icon indicates the scope and effort. The icon choices are recognizable. It has extensions for quoting code, bug-tracking, epic creation, all of which are easy to go over during a meeting and help my planning tremendously. It also integrates well with the other Atlassian products i.e. you can see a person's Confluence and other things by clicking on their icon. The new dark theme they added is really nice, it lets me work on the board a lot longer.
They have revamped things so I find the UI is responding faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not let us assign more than one person to a task. This can be disruptive when we talk about dividing effort between resources or we want to add support members to a task who are responsible for contributing to it.
The subtask view is also bad. It speads over a chunk of the board and sends all the main tasks below it so that its phases can be seen. Since subtasks are occasional and do not need to be created very often, this is very disruptive when we go over items in our scrum.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to divide effort between team members and record every new SPIKE/Ramp Up condition we had to fulfill for a given task. Jira does not try to be more than a task management service so it is not cluttered with options to message or call a member of the board or show their statuses. Also, using the UI can sometimes be tedious if the story is not directly added to the board and goes to the backlog but Atlassian also offers a Jira CLI to compensate. And the CLI can be run from a shell and so we can write scripts to automate task creation, so that is a great help.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the cutomization workflows for the project tasks,create issues and track them, integration with tools like GIT and Confluence, Creating dashboards for the teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface can be improved. Also reporting features can be made user friendly, there is no real time support if we need one to ask for questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for issue tracking and project colloboration. I work in Scrum methadalogy, it great for team's daily stand up. Integration with GIT and Confluence makes project management more easier.

What do you like best about the product?
A lot of Jira's features are exciting like its Board where I can easily track all mine and teams' ongoing tasks and projects. Best thing is that I can create multiple boards as required. Another great thing of Jira is the calender features is because I can quickly see all the scheduled task on a single portal, maintain, review, and make changes such as changing the due dates and assigne of the task while also replacing the entire task with another task that has to done on high priority. Integration facility with popular software like Google Sheet, Slack, Microsoft teams, and Trello is also very helpful to organize different task and projects on a single place. All of these things removes hassle from our daily task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no disappointing experience to write about Jira. However, the usability of this platform can be increased if if has more feature to simplify team collaboration. For us, the board, calender, integration of microsoft teams is almost enough. Hence, we have no issues so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Jira, project and task anagement is not anymore challenging for me. We use confluence for drafting the content and we use Jira to track tasks at various stages like I can see the tasks which are yet to be started, what is in planning stage, in progress, review, and approved. Also, I can anytime share the task link in editable mode to any team member or copy the link to share later. Quick filters are another great feature that allows me to search for a specific task and track its details in a few seconds.

For example construction company uses Jira to collaborate with their subcontractors. This helps them to communicate effectively and work together to complete projects on time and within budget.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the project management & ticketing functionality & easy to customize. Like the customization of Boards according to need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as I used JIRA since last 3 years .

Project Management is quite easy in JIRA & easy to maintain ticket & board customization, ticket planning & tracking of bugs & sprint planning etc.
