Jira Keeps Our Projects on Track with Epic-Linked Tasks

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira has been very beneficial for me to use as a project management tool. I can keep track of the work my team is doing by having tasks linked to an Epic ticket and make sure that progress is continuously being made.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can be a little overwhelming behind the scenes when I need to make adjustments to my workflows. There are a lot of options and it can sometimes be hard trying to find the right setting I need to adjust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira provides a high level overview of the tasks and projects my team is working on. Each column shows the status of the issue being worked on and without opening the ticket and reading the details I can know where things are at from a glance.

Excellent for Team Work & To‑Dos Organization

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Organizing your work and todos in a team is obviously the best aspect about Jira. I wouldn't know how to properly do that without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Jira can feel a bit cumbersome to use, especially when I’m trying to access certain features or actions. Some of these options are placed in spots where I wouldn’t expect to find them, and the layout can feel inconsistent from one area to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps our team organize, coordinate, and plan our work. We can map out what we want to do in the future and make sure we don’t forget important to-dos that aren’t relevant right now but may become important later. For the work we’re currently focused on, it gives us a clear overview of what still needs to be done, so the tasks feel manageable rather than overwhelming. It also makes it easier to track progress across the whole team.

I use Jira for tracking bugs, maintaining tasks, and collaborating with my dev team during sprints. I like the ability to track bugs and tasks efficiently as it provides clear visibility into sprint progress and helps the team collaborate effectively. The initial setup was straightforward, with helpful documentation and guides that made it easy to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is very powerful but the interface can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for new users. Navigation experience would make it more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Seamless Notifications, Smooth Setup

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Jira is simple and easy to navigate, which made the initial setup smooth and hassle-free. Its integration with Slack and Gmail is particularly convenient for me because I get real-time notifications whenever there's activity or response on a ticket. This is great because I'm not always able to check Jira, so being notified when the right person responds is really helpful. I've been using Jira for over 5 years now, and it's been easy to get used to. I would definitely recommend it since I never had issues navigating and learning the software initially; it's pretty comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, only sometimes it is hard to select the correct category for which to raise the ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to escalate technical issues and raise queries related to company policies or informations which are not so clear or present in the knowledge base.

The Structured Powerhouse: Why Jira is the Gold Standard for Complex Teams

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JQL (Jira Query Language) is an ultimate search tool. It lets you run precise queries to find exactly what you need across thousands of issues, which makes data reporting incredibly granular.

Deep traceability links the entire development lifecycle. You can follow a single task from the initial requirement all the way to the specific line of code and the final deployment.

Robust automation, with its "if-this-then-that" engine, cuts down on manual "busy work." It can automatically assign tickets, keep parent/child statuses in sync, and trigger alerts based on specific logic.

For enterprise scaling, features like Advanced Roadmaps help leadership see how dozens of different teams are tracking toward a single goal, and they make dependencies visible before they turn into blockers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is only as good as its admin. Its biggest strength—nearly endless customization—can quickly turn into its biggest weakness when the setup is over-engineered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira tackles information fragmentation by centralizing the entire development lifecycle. It solves four key problems:

Siloed Communication: It replaces scattered emails and spreadsheets with a single source of truth. Every code commit and design tweak is linked to one ticket.

Invisible Bottlenecks: Through dependency mapping, it reveals when Team A is blocking Team B before the deadline hits, allowing for proactive scheduling.

Manual Overload: Its no-code automation handles the "paperwork"—auto-assigning tasks and updating statuses so developers can focus on actual coding.

Lack of Accountability: With data-driven reporting (like Burndown charts), it provides an objective view of team velocity, removing guesswork from project planning.

How this benefits you:
It transforms project management from a reactive "firefighting" mode into a predictable, scalable machine. You gain total transparency, fewer status meetings, and a clear historical record for audits or future planning. By automating the mundane, it ensures your highest-paid talent spends their time solving problems, not updating tickets.

Jira Makes Task Tracking and Project Management Seamless

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is its ease of use once you get familiar with it, especially for tracking tasks and managing projects. The implementation is relatively straightforward for teams that already follow structured workflows. Jira is used frequently in day-to-day work because it helps keep track of tasks, progress, and responsibilities. It also offers a large number of features, such as issue tracking, sprint planning, and reporting, which make project management easier. Another positive aspect is the ease of integration with other tools like Slack, GitHub, and other development platforms. In addition, the customer support and documentation are generally helpful when setting up or troubleshooting the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Jira is that it can feel complex and overwhelming at first because of the large number of features and configuration options. While implementation is possible without too much difficulty, setting up workflows properly can take time and may require some experience. The interface can also feel a bit heavy compared to simpler tools, which sometimes affects ease of use for new users. Customer support is generally helpful, but response times can vary depending on the service plan. Because it is used so frequently for task tracking, small usability frustrations can become noticeable over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of organizing and tracking work across a team. It provides a centralized place where tasks, bugs, and project progress can be monitored. This benefits teams by improving transparency and making it easier to see who is responsible for each task and what the current status is. The ease of integration with other tools also helps streamline workflows, allowing updates from development, communication, and documentation platforms to connect in one system. Because Jira is used frequently in project management, it helps teams stay organized, collaborate more effectively, and manage complex projects more efficiently.

Essential for Managing High Request Volumes

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find it comfortable to manage many requests with Jira, which is very helpful for my tasks. The initial setup of Jira was easy, which made the transition from SysAid smoother. I switched to Jira from another product and found it effective for handling our service desk operations and change management needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flow to approve requests in Jira is a little bit complicated. When you need to approve any request, the site carries you to another interface, which is more complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to manage a lot of requests comfortably, making it easier to handle my tasks.

Great Tool for Managing Tasks, Bugs, and Team Workflows

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a great tool for managing tasks and tracking project progress. It helps teams organize their work clearly using tickets, boards, and workflows. I like how easy it is to assign tasks, monitor status, and collaborate with team members. The dashboards and reporting features also help in understanding project progress and identifying issues quickly. It works well for teams that follow Agile or structured project management processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Jira is that it can be a bit complicated for new users. The interface has many features, which sometimes makes it difficult to navigate at first. Setting up workflows or configurations may also require some technical understanding. If the user interface was a bit simpler and easier for beginners, it would improve the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps our team manage tasks, track issues, and organize project work in one place. It improves visibility into what everyone is working on and helps ensure tasks are completed on time. By using Jira boards and tickets, we can easily track progress, assign responsibilities, and manage priorities. This helps our team stay organized, communicate better, and deliver projects more efficiently.
