JIRA for Agile Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is an efficient tool for Agile Project Management. It helps us to manage our sprints and backlog. The velocity and burndown charts also help in managing team performance and workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA does not provide robust customisation features. Recently I am unable to change the due date of an epic, although trying multiple times, and it seems a lot of users are facing the same issue. Also most of the essential features of JIRA require additional payment subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to visualise team performance and workload. It helps us to track progress and collaborate on our work correctly.

What do you like best about the product?
Highly customizable. Robust reporting capabilities. Seamless integration. Generous free plan.To track issues without much hassle. Easy to synchronize data. Keep track of issues shared between teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex for new users Expensive for businesses with large teams and multiple projects. Customization can be time-consuming and requires technical expertise. The tool is hard to set up and get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira can be used for general task management. Teams can create tasks, assign them to team members, set due dates, and track their progress.
Great tool for managing sprints for your Development team.
What do you like best about the product?
Very customisable and configurable. The recent updates such as sprint and backlog insights have been great for better understanding how your team is performing or how many tickets you should be plan for the next sprint.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new tools and updates for team-managed projects are great but they sometimes haven't been well integrated with older tools such as reports or functionality for Company managed projects. It's also quite annoying that you need to upgrade to the highest tier plan to allow cross-project releases as it's quite common for Development teams to be structured in squads and or work across multiple projects that share a release cycle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us to plan and manage our development work. We use Jira to raise and track bugs through to resolution as well as manage the planning and building of new features and improvements to existing features.
Jira Boards are excellent for team work

Average experience - needs improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has one advantage over all others, that is its integration with Bitbucket and confluence, tagging jira story id in bitbucket commits directly helps us track issues and makes a lot easier to track the sprint.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an overload of features like creating epics and tagging them and there is search feature necessary in backlog where we can search based on the issue reporter, currently search can be done only on assignees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us solve the problem of centralized issue tracking and progress management with timelines. Jira is quite specifically designed for agile SDLC and integrations with VCS(bitbucket) and documentation(confluence) makes it a lot more efficient compared to other tools
Good for managing task and be productive
What do you like best about the product?
Good and easy UI, ease of making tickets.Jira offers a highly customizable workflow that can be tailored to match the specific processes and needs of different teams and projects. Users can create their own issue types, statuses, transitions, and rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you may face bugs and feel like what is happening, lack of user-level customization. Reporting is not user friendly, Jira offers standard reporting templates only and Jira's reporting capabilities often require users to configure various parameters and filters to define the data they want to include in the report
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps manage tasks at different stages and makes deployment management easy as you can create a branch in bitbucket and directly refer to tickets from bitbucket itself.

What do you dislike about the product?
Jira, particularly the self-hosted version (Jira Server), can be costly for small teams or organizations with limited budgets. Jira can be complex and overwhelming, especially for new users or teams without prior experience with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primary benefit is Project Management using Agile Methodology. Sprint Planning, Work Item Tracking, and Customizable workflow are the benefits that Jira solved.
Jira and the broader Atlassian suite of tools are great for dev ops teams
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is one of the most sophisticated agile project management tools on the market - and when you pair it with functions like automation and service desk, teams are able to drastically increase their internal coordination and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
A double-edge sword for non-technical teams looking for basic project management software. They may find Jira "over-kill" and overly complicated. Asana or Notion would be better for a non-technical team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jira both for bug management, as well as agile project management. We make full use of sprints, roadmaps, epics/tasks, automation logic, service desk and confluence.
Nice tool to escalate work
What do you like best about the product?
Using Jira helps me manage issues - bugs but and features . It can be easily escalated between teams, we can track the status and much more. This is essential when working in a large company
What do you dislike about the product?
The program looks very difficult to use. It has a lot of functions and even I, after a few years of working on this program, do not know many of its possibilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Jira program definitely helps to track the status of tasks in the company. Both bugs and features we have now in one place. The program is not easy for use, but its very useful for problem management.
