Invaluable organizing tool for small to large marketing and sales departments

What do you like best about the product?
As a project manager, I love the universality and customization available within Jira. By that, I mean I love how following standard Scrum best practices with scoring using story point estimates allows anyone to begin their experience within a Jira team project. Anyone can come to Jira with a lot of experience using a tool like it, or without any experience and I've been able to educate using standard best practices to make the system work best for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are too many customizable fields or settings which clash with one another and that has caused me to have to work with HubSpot support members to make things work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our cross-functional team works in marketing activities and product management - including product launches and rebranding exercises. Jira is instrumental in both keeping track of these in our two-week sprints and the Kanban board management of our issues is easy to reassign to other members if needed.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool with a lot of customization. It's very easy to create issues/bugs. It offers a lot of integration which makes it very useful and efficient. For example, an issue/bug can be created on Jira via Slack, getting notifications for mentions, status updates, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing as such. The rich text editor such as description field can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of bug creation and tracking, creating feature requirement documents such as user stories that can be passed to the engineering team.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, promotes ownership (one assignee), and vast integrations and plugins.
Great for tracebaility and creating links to other tasks, confluence pages and even external sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface and basic of the shelf reporting and tracking methods, additional expensive plug-ins need to be bought.
It generates huge effort to maintain a project plan in Jira and maintain the overview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking tasks and open items, as well panning SW activities.
As well allows access to all the teams to the items --> improves transparency and promotes proactivity

What do you like best about the product?
You can assign responsibilities to the team to complete the project. The features able you to simulate the project viability and similar Jira can compete with other software
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a limited amount of resources, some features are paid, to increase the competition maybe you should lower the prices, especially for those who have just started a project or are even in the outsourcing phase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Small medium enterprise find it hard to start a business where you could attribute a product or services that can be managed and proposed to add market value in the time of the launch.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to personalize my workflow is the most valuable aspect of Jira, the tool I use on a daily basis at work. It assists me in arranging my assignments, monitoring my advancement, and adjusting my workflow, problems, and fields to suit my specific requirements. The collaboration functionalities in Jira, like commenting and notes, facilitate staying updated on the work's status, offering feedback, and exchanging ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I have no negative points to mention about Jira, the software can appear overwhelming due to its extensive features and intricate interface. Fully harnessing its capabilities may require some training and patience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From my perspective, Jira's task management provides a comprehensive system for creating, assigning, and monitoring tasks, with the added convenience of built-in templates that streamline the process. The project tracking features, including real-time data, visualization options, and built-in reports, have proven to be valuable in helping teams monitor and track their progress.

Jira keeps me Structured

  • May 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira keeps me organized. For the types of tickets I am assigned, things get redundant and it is easy to go back and view what has been done and look at my current workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I found navigating the different ticket views and statuses a little confusing. However, I did not receive much Jira training up front.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, issues requiring tickets would be requested via email or salesforce. These were used interchangeably with no distinction. Switching to Jira has streamlined this process and is the most organized option.

Jira Enables Faster, More Aligned Marketing Project Management.

  • May 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a user, I have been particularly impressed with Jira's Scrum and Kanban board features. These tools have allowed us to visually map our project workflow and track the progress of tasks in real-time. It has greatly facilitated our ability to stay informed about which assigned tasks are on track and identify any that may be delayed. The visibility provided by these features has made project management much smoother and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Jira can be challenging for non-technical users in my department, particularly during the initial stages. The software's technical nature and non-intuitive user interface make it difficult for them to grasp its features and functionality. Unfortunately, this lack of user-friendliness exacerbates the overall experience for non-technical users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira has truly revolutionized project management within my department. It has made planning our projects much easier, thanks to its remarkable features like user stories, issues, and tasks. These tools have allowed us to break down our extensive project execution plans into manageable chunks across teams. The centralized visibility of our work in one place has made collaboration nearly effortless, ensuring that everyone is on the same page throughout the process.
