It is very useful and powerful for team work and integrations with other products
What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with almost everything you need for work: GitLab, Slack, Email, Google Docs, etc. You can create projects, teams, sprints, and each team can manage their responsibilities separately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that I cannot sort the "Pinned fields" and "Details" in a card/ticket/issue. So, if I want to change the order in the pinned fields, I have to unpin them and then pin them again in the order I want. Another thing I dislike is the fact that we don't have the average velocity of the sprint calculated. We have the velocity per sprint but I don't know why a metric very used is not shown in Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our company with Project Management. Each team has its independent board to track the progress of the sprint, keep cards organized in the backlog, and has a lot of reports.

Jira is best to use when working in a group of small feature teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA is disoriented when compared to other tools which focus on performance and growth, wheras JIRA focuses mostly on the assignment and task completion.
For Bug tracking , extra tags and labels needs to be used, however in ALM a separate project section is available for defects and Bugs.

What do you like best about the product?
It is user friendly for project management purposes specially for Gant charts.
Data management and reporting is very easy.

I don't see any pitfalls. It fulfills all my expectations.
The only thing it needs time and guidance to explore all features and functionalities.

project management and gant charts were never so easy. Since it hosts on cloud, you never lose any data. It is not very costly and seamlessly integrated with other or any type of cloud features.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick Upates and reflection via mail is faster. Worked on an Automation project where pulling up of description, comments, attachments via python was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading Images as part of the tickets sometimes fail and is something which the team should work on. Failed to upload images is a pop up that I receive often.

Managing works of teammates is effective. Tracking of similar tickets that happened earlier helps at sorting things easier. Performance increase and time saving.
