What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the only thing I hate in Jira is it`s only configurable once and for everyone in the comapny. You can`t add fields for only your team. This is a very big disadvantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It`s a very flexible task tracker. All this boards, reports are really helpful when you are working by SCRUM.

Jira : Solution for easing Issue management and tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps in managing projects with a high number of tickets being created frequently. Jira's support for integration with different applications helps automate many manual tasks, resulting in effective ticket closure and better SLA management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is very complex, with a lot of UI improvement required. It's not ready to work solution; one needs to spend a good time learning all the capabilities in Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps manage and track tickets created for security-related issues identified across the organization. It keeps the relevant stakeholders informed about the bugs/issues identified in their product/service to mitigate that on time.
Jira Core Cloud is free for small teams.
What do you like best about the product?
Jira Core Cloud is free for small teams. Jira Core provides a platform for other applications and apps. Jira Software is for software development project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is only for small team. The Software licences include access to Core, because Software is extra functions on top of Core and can't work without it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira help us to solve the project management issues.
Jira review
What do you like best about the product?
It is very useful as you can easily track the work of other team members. Also, with the help of due date work can be prioritised. You can put labels for different team members to verify the number of jira assigned to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is only one thing I dislike about Jira: the multiple due dates, such as target due date and due date, which create problems when fetching data in the Tableau dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helped us in maintaining the agile model, and the business can also easily assign work directly to developers according to their requirements without much technical knowledge.
Makes product & project management easier
What do you like best about the product?
- Modern User Interface
- Attach screenshots, archives, videos, text files/log dumps
- Project view
- Add tickets/bugs /tasks/stories etc

What do you dislike about the product?
- Quite complex if not set up properly with the minimum amount of fields; these can typically run into thousands of customisable fields which are not required. Jira should come up with a minimal number of these fields for project management rather than leaving it to the discretion of the administrators.
- Complex to do the initial setup
- Creating filters are complicated
- Basic search has a limitation on the number of arguments that can be passed

Bit of a learning curve, but worth it.
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps organizing the engineering team to be on top of their tasks every sprint and to have transparency into what everyone is working on at a given point in time. It is also a great platform to integrate with many other parts of the tech stack such as Slack, Bitbucket, Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was hard to undertand how the platform works, especially not coming from a technical background. However, after a couple of months I got the hang of it and it started flowing naturally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is helping in project and product management for our software project. It helps keep track of all the tasks at hand, the tasks in the backlog, roadmapping, and shows us how efficiently the team members are performing their tasks.
Jira helps me open bugs in a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the fact that it's highly customisable, being able to fit to any project.
The fact that you're able to move / clone issues, attach all sorts of files to the tickets, annotations.
The fact that you're able to move / clone issues, attach all sorts of files to the tickets, annotations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are sync issues, and the edits on tickets might not be saved, needing to do the edits again, which might frustrate the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is a project management tool, allowing the tracking of development tickets, bugs, timesheet to be tracked, having a overview of the project all the times.
JIRA is useful for logging lots of tickets, sizing and breaking down complex tasks
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is relatively easy to use to make projects, sprints and create a backlog of issues to be completed. Easy to collaborate with tech teams and link issues together that are associated.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be set up to be more visually easy to read and digest - similar to the look of Trello or Teams Projects. JIRA is only ideal for tech teams, whereas I've been asked to use it for Marketing testing, which sometimes I have to hack some of the definitions to mean what I need in the context of how I use the system. For instance, In Test in dev terms means, it's not live yet, but in my use of JIRA in test means the feature is live and being tested on consumers for a couple of weeks. I want to be able to change these Transitions easily, but I haven't found a way to do this before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using JIRA to manage my workload and to communicate my tickets with the development team. Also, I use JIRA to document the test aims and results.
Review in a point of view of a non software user
What do you like best about the product?
The connectivity and communication options that Jira provides are quite good actually. They have as many integrations as I can think with other softwares. Also, you can do good automations with this tool, to help you to handle simple actions, or maybe notify you in the future given a condition.

What do you dislike about the product?
Jira takes some time to master. Maybe it is because the tool is so complete, that you never really master it. Actually, there are a lot of jobs, at least in Brazil, that ask you to have "experience in JIRA" as a requisite. We are not a software company, so many tools did not have the biggest value to us.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira really helps the company to organize the workflows once the team really learns how to use and, above all, how to customize it according to the company's needs. The real value of JIRA is that you can make it works the way your company needs.
