Good incident manager
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very useful tool for managing company incidents, you can change their statuses, make progress comments, and assign them to people.
What do you dislike about the product?
The states in which an incident can be found are a bit confusing. They should change the flow to make understanding the incidents easier. Other than that, there hasn't been anything I didn't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to "pressure" a work group with the assignment of an incident to force it to be part of their work and that they have to review and analyze it.

What do you like best about the product?
When you're using Jira you're tracking everything, and the progress is visible to your team. Number of Jira tickets you resolve is shows how much work you've done in a day, month or a year.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes all the notification mails can get annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is solving a lot of problems like better team collaboration tracking of individual work done and progress of the project.

It's a bit confusing for beginners; it seemed confusing when I started with Jira. It may be a different experience for you. Who knows but apart from disliking I liked the product

It helps me keep track of the project deadline, which is the most crucial thing in the project. Apart from deadlines, it also allows me to assign work to my junior and keep track of a project

The user interface is a bit confusing for a first-time user. But as you get used to it, it becomes easier to use. UI can be improved.

it requires training for its use, and sometimes it becomes complicated to change the status of tasks when several subtask are created on the same one.

JIRA is a critical part of our workflow. The amount of customisations and integrations it has makes our day-to-day operations efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring workflows can be complicated as an admin. Ready-to-use templates and detailed documentation can help improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our complete project tracking is based on JIRA. Our team operations and development process is built around JIRA. The integrations with G suite and Github have helped us streamline our release process.
Great tool to handle the tasks and know the progresses on each level of task

The idea of dividing complex tasks into simple ones and letting the entire team work on the same by making everyone aware of the current progress and the pendency.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit complicated to use the tool as there is so much jargon and statuses, and also, it's an enormous tool to explore and would take huge amount of time to be a pro in using the same.

Jira is a great way to communicate with the team on different projects and tasks handled. It gives a clear picture of where the team stands in the progress of all functions and keeps everyone informed on every detail. It makes a complex task turn into a simple step-by-step effort by breaking it into various levels and stages that the job falls into.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira's reporting and resource management feature allows users to manage their resources and workload effectively. Since Jira has been in the industry for a long time, you can integrate Jira with test case management tools like test rails, version control systems like GitHub, communication tools like Slack, and so on. Moreover, you can create custom workflows and rules as desired on Jira without any hassle and in no time.
What do you dislike about the product?
First-time users may have to spend time learning and understanding Jira, but the documentation and extensive video tutorials can help you set up Jira faster. Also, users cannot assess risks on Jira, a drawback and a much-needed feature of a project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the significant problems that Jira solves is that it lets you manage requirements, resources, and stakeholders from day one. The users can select Kanban model, sprint, or releases based on the project management type they follow.

Easy to create, edit, assign, change status, close, delete, search and find tickets.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our hosted Jira platform only allows for blocks of time in 30-minute blocks. I would appreciate 15-minute blocks of time.

Jira allows our company to manage all of our business development tasks and problems in one very powerful and configurable dashboard. There are great teamwork features present.
